Shake Posted November 6, 2010 Posted November 6, 2010 So, was it simple coincidence that the GMRB showed up towards the end of this project?
Bahamut Posted November 6, 2010 Author Posted November 6, 2010 The timing yes, but I knew the competition would come up - Shariq and I have talked about it while the GRMRB was running. Edit: And NitroFlash (Dominic Ninmark) has claimed Volt Catfish and Opening Stage (MMX)! Things just got serious !
Bahamut Posted November 7, 2010 Author Posted November 7, 2010 A double post, but WillRock and Brandon have sent in 2 more wavs - looking good folks!
Brandon Strader Posted November 8, 2010 Posted November 8, 2010 Whee. I like having the blue name and preventing double posts. Great work ya'll and is truly a pleasure to be involved with this thang.
Kinslayer Posted November 9, 2010 Posted November 9, 2010 The timing yes, but I knew the competition would come up - Shariq and I have talked about it while the GRMRB was running.Edit: And NitroFlash (Dominic Ninmark) has claimed Volt Catfish and Opening Stage (MMX)! Things just got serious ! Surprising that NitroFlash has the time to be working on MMX remixes...he's doing the soundtrack for Mega Man X: Corrupted for JKBGames...still, he's an awesome artist It is disappointing in a lot of ways, as there are a lot of nice sources in the series not taken like Doppler Stage 1 (X3), Wheel Gator (X2), Wire Sponge (X2), Crystal Snail (X2), X-Hunter Stage 2 (X2)/Gate's Laboratory Stage (X6), Ruins'n Vains (X7), Bomb Recovery (X7), Inferno ~ Descending (X8 ), Booster Forest (X8 ), Volt Catfish (X3), Web Spider (X4), Grizzly Slash (X5), Blaze Heatnix (X6), and Sigma 2 (X6).It's not like I can take a gun to someone's head and force them to do all desired tracks...or I guess I could and be labeled a psycho I would like to add that "Irregular Iris Battle"(X4) "Irregular Double Battle" (X4) and "Space Port" (X4) are all great source tunes as well.
Bahamut Posted November 9, 2010 Author Posted November 9, 2010 I done a wip. You may have done a WIP, but this is all I could think of: In other news, Ergosonic is wav ready. His final track is absolutely gorgeous, you all will be blown away by this take on Spark Mandrill (as well as his also good bonus track version of it)! Sick doesn't even begin to describe it. Edit: Wav get!
Mirby Posted November 9, 2010 Posted November 9, 2010 Surprising that NitroFlash has the time to be working on MMX remixes...he's doing the soundtrack for Mega Man X: Corrupted for JKBGames...still, he's an awesome artist And this is the main reason I'm happy about this. Everyone, check that fan game out if you haven't yet. It looks great, and JKB is a great guy. I've talked to him.
Bahamut Posted November 11, 2010 Author Posted November 11, 2010 So not only have I gotten a wav from Ergosonic, I also got a rough WIP from Devastus for Crush Crawfish and a final wav from M-H for Primrose. I'm hoping to see a lot more wavs come in this month!
KyleJCrb Posted November 11, 2010 Posted November 11, 2010 Mind = blown. Project = amazing. Bahamut = the man.
Bahamut Posted November 17, 2010 Author Posted November 17, 2010 Avaris is the next to finish on the song count! Song turned out pretty good...but that's enough of that. This project is moving pretty briskly right now. At least 20 tracks could be finished in any given notice, with more being worked on steadily. Looking good for the final final deadline of the end of December!
Shake Posted November 20, 2010 Posted November 20, 2010 Devastus...M-H F-CK YEAH! (We can curse on this forum, right?) I LOVE THESE TWO. I HAVE HIGH EXPECTATIONS OF DEVASTUS
KyleJCrb Posted November 20, 2010 Posted November 20, 2010 F-CK YEAH! (We can curse on this forum, right? Hey, watch the goddamn fuckin' language.
Bahamut Posted November 20, 2010 Author Posted November 20, 2010 Last night we had a quite surprising chat amongst staff - currently there are 5 (!) albums in the queue to be released with more looming in the horizon like this one (I think 4+ albums). I'm hoping we can release in January, although I'm not sure how things are going to shake down. That's a lot of music on the way! And better news is that I got in my first see at how the artwork is going down today. It looks bold & quite fitting.
Chernabogue Posted November 20, 2010 Posted November 20, 2010 Each time you say "[insert random name here] send a WiP/finished track", you make me impatient, haha 2011 will be an amazing year for OCR.
Bahamut Posted November 20, 2010 Author Posted November 20, 2010 Want more impatience? Dr. Manhattan is done with his track .
Mirby Posted November 20, 2010 Posted November 20, 2010 Want more impatience? Dr. Manhattan is done with his track . This... is... awesome!!
WillRock Posted November 20, 2010 Posted November 20, 2010 Want more impatience? Dr. Manhattan is done with his track . And its the best fucking remix ever.

Bahamut Posted November 20, 2010 Author Posted November 20, 2010 You want more, you got more - Dominic Ninmark has sent me his final wav for X-Hunter Stage 1! This track is also of top notch quality. Also got a WIP from Joshua Morse for Rainy Turtloid
Bahamut Posted November 23, 2010 Author Posted November 23, 2010 Well, got some final wav pledges for the week/weekend today! Let's welcome Diggi Dis on board, he is taking on Zero Stage 2 from X5 and he's collabing with Joshua Morse on Blast Hornet from X3!
Psychol0gist Posted November 23, 2010 Posted November 23, 2010 Oh god stop with the song-gasms. My mind can't take the wait. =x
Swanky Posted November 23, 2010 Posted November 23, 2010 After listening to the previews, I am now officially a fanboy of this project. Ok well maybe not as much, but I am really looking forward to the new dose of Megaman tunes for my collection. Keep up the good work!
