I have a couple very old WIPs I will almost certainly never finish that I'll post here: Castlevania 2 jazz mix Really old (2002) and pretty embarassing WIP of a "jazz" remix I was doing of the town theme of CV2. Final Fantasy 6 - In Terra Nova WIP I had the bright idea to do a terra remix in 2003. It got a lot of responses on the forums at the time (cuz it was a terra mix). Some people really liked it but I never could figure out where to go with it and I wouldn't finish it now. I have a couple more that I might post later. Zelda 3 - Clouds of Smog Over Hyrule Hyrule Castle WIP from I think late 2003 that many people (including Larry) had bugged me about finishing after I uploaded it to vgmix (note: this version is slightly different), but I might not ever finish because it's so old now. Lemmings - Cataclysmic Calamities of a Questionably Bouncy Nature WIP of a Lemmings song from around 2004, it's short and simple. I had uploaded it to vgmix, this is the version that was on there but I think I sped it up afterwards. DOOM - WIP This was my song for "Dark Side of Phobos" from 2005 that I didn't finish and then I dropped from the project. It has some pretty out-there ideas that I'd like to continue, but the source is very minimal and I take forever to get into it, so this mix will probably stay that way. We have the technology. The latest FL project file got deleted, and all I could were some projects with less organized mix of sounds. But I did export the instrument parts out as individual wav files and tried to reassemble them in Ableton Live Lite. That was just lost for so long but I just found it again, and really it should just be an hour or two of work to finish those drums. Hopefully it can hold up to Detuned Logic's remix that was posted last year. I remember hearing (& commenting) on this back when I first joined the forums here. Always wondered what happened to it after it was rejected. Thanks for sharing, though I'd still really like to hear it properly finished :/ The version we submitted to the judges panel was plauged with clipping problems, especially after the first big drop. It languished on my hard drive until 2007, when I touched it up a little. Still mostly pack-in FL samples, loops and synths. No idea where the title came from. 2005: Crash Twinsanity - Train Wreck My first (of a grand total of two) PRC entries. Aptly titled, no? 2006: Tetris Attack - Don't Panic One of my early, rejected OCR submissions. I don't have the piano sample I originally used, so this render probably sounds a little 'off'. Probably the best of my work from this period. 'Abandoned' songs 2006: Sonic 2 - Mystic Cave (demo) The only thing this one really had going for it was the bassline. 2009: Super Metroid - Ambient Crap (demo) This evolved out of my OHC040 entry, incorporating a handful of themes from the NES and SNES Metroid games. Could never decide on how to continue the song.
