The welcoming page (no part of the image is hyperlinked yet). The size is set so that at 1024x768 (which most usually people have as their resolution) no scrolling is involved. I drastically changed it because... well... it was commented that the red is too strong (though many many others liked the red to begin with. Here is the result after going around in circles. I probably won't touch it again. I have other paid projects to work on. I don't need to worry so much about these freebies I hand out so often here at OCR.

my suggestion would to try and match the sharpness of the background materials to the doom logo text. i realize it is a technique to draw less attention to the background, however...it does not need to be fully sharpened. imho, it's too unfocused...and i like the black version better.

We don't need a shitty rip of a graphic that looks like it took you 5 minutes to do to show affiliation with OCR. How about I pull my track at the last minute because I don't agree with your design? No - I won't sink to your level.

There are plenty of ways to show affiliation to OCR without ripping of it's graphical ideas. It's better if the project is able to stand on its own and not lean on previously built foundations.

I know I'm not a part of this project, but I thought I'd throw my 2 cents in.

Calm down, guys. G-T doesn't have to do this graphical work for us, he's good with graphics and has offered his time politely.

If you don't like the headphones idea, posting your own ideas here would be more constructive. He was happy to go back and retry the design when I gave him some specific suggestions.
