theshaggyfreak Posted August 17, 2012 Posted August 17, 2012 I thought about that, but then again I already have MOR and Studio Drummer and Battery 3 - probably should be time I learn to use those effectively. I ended up getting the SSD essentials despite having a number of other things and it sounds pretty damn good! What's nice is that you can load your own samples into the VST if you want to. The stock kit sounds quite useful. It's nice to have a good selection of drums in your arsenal.
GallenWolf Posted August 31, 2012 Posted August 31, 2012 http://www.bestservice.de/special.asp/en - weekend special, 25% off. Wish I had the budget for Ethno World. Ah well. Cinematic Strings 2.0 is also on this offer.
theshaggyfreak Posted September 4, 2012 Posted September 4, 2012 Puremagnetik has a little deal going on where you can get a big bundle of some of their samples packs for $10. slimbo Posted November 22, 2012 Posted November 22, 2012 It's that time again! Native Instruments has half-off deals on many of their products, between now and Nov 26. http://www.native-instruments.com/specials/three-course-deal/
Antonio Pizza Posted December 18, 2012 Posted December 18, 2012 Surprised no one has mentioned, but Image Line is having an End of the World Sale. ALL plugins are $45USD, but you only get to utilize this in one transaction. So if you've been saving up for those $150 FL Studio plugins, they're forty-five bucks a pop if you get them all now. Check the site for details. http://www.image-line.com/documents/news.php?entry_id=1355105323&title=end-of--world-sale
XPRTNovice Posted December 18, 2012 Posted December 18, 2012 Native Instruments is giving away DRIVER and some TRAKTOR sets for free right now.
Chimpazilla Posted December 20, 2012 Posted December 20, 2012 Freebies from Heavyocity! http://www.heavyocity.com/ (gotta like them on Facebook to get it) And a $30 coupon (although their stuff is already cheaper on NI site and coupon doesn't work there)
EC2151 Posted December 20, 2012 Posted December 20, 2012 Native Instruments gave out a $30 coupon to my email, so I assume that others received it as well. I believe this will be the perfect opportunity to pick up a copy of Maschine and get myself some real nice drum packs!
Argle Posted December 20, 2012 Posted December 20, 2012 Best Service is having a 2-for-1 holiday sale. I grabbed all of Eduardo Tarilonte's stuff... Forest Kingdom, Epic World, Era Medieval Legends, and Desert Winds. If you're into the whole ambient/new-age/orchestral/ethno/cinematic thing, these sounds are like sweet sweet crack.
Esperado Posted December 25, 2012 Posted December 25, 2012 (edited) native instruments has a free deal on the komplete FX "driver". im not sure what it does yet, but hell, its free until the 31st! They had a deal on some traktor sound pack things too, but i cant find the official posting on the site, i just got an email notification for it. i could try posting the email link if you guys were interested and think it would work. Edit : oops. xprtnovice already posted about this dont hate me. Edited December 25, 2012 by Esperado
Meteo Xavier Posted December 25, 2012 Posted December 25, 2012 Driver's a distortion/filter effect. I got it. Wouldn't have paid for it personally, but it's not too bad as I play with it.
Nabeel Ansari Posted December 25, 2012 Posted December 25, 2012 I believe this will be the perfect opportunity to pick up a copy of Maschine and get myself some real nice drum packs! You don't pick up a "copy" of Maschine. It's a hardware unit; you pick up an actual Maschine. >_>
Frederic Petitpas Posted December 26, 2012 Posted December 26, 2012 You don't pick up a "copy" of Maschine. It's a hardware unit; you pick up an actual Maschine. >_> there's a Maschine thing for iOS or is it iMaschine ?
EC2151 Posted December 26, 2012 Posted December 26, 2012 Well I was specifically talking about the maschine drum sample pack, which would be far more convenient and conducive to my production. My drum libraries are a bit lacking.
Pyro Paper Planes Posted December 26, 2012 Posted December 26, 2012 Waves is having some insane deals right now: http://www.waves.com/content.aspx?id=351&ref=nl Three of their plug-ins that are usually $100 are only $9 at the moment. Anyone have any experience with them?
theshaggyfreak Posted December 26, 2012 Posted December 26, 2012 Despite the Waves sale, I'm steering clear. I've never been a fan of their draconian licensing. A lot of people like them, though.
Magnetic Ether Posted December 27, 2012 Posted December 27, 2012 Waves is having some insane deals right now:http://www.waves.com/content.aspx?id=351&ref=nl Three of their plug-ins that are usually $100 are only $9 at the moment. Anyone have any experience with them? Just saw that. I know a lot of people use them for mastering and stuff...are the ones that are on sale any good?
Argle Posted December 27, 2012 Posted December 27, 2012 Waves is pretty overrated in general. That said, the $9 sale might be useful to someone.
Esperado Posted January 17, 2013 Posted January 17, 2013 there's a Maschine thing for iOS or is it iMaschine ? theres an midi controller that looks like an MPC for hippies. its all colorful and nice, and it comes with the maschine sound library. there is imaschine too, but thats not really much more than a toy. with some ingenuity you could use it an an Iproduction if you wanted but not for anything serious id say. i use it to remix my coworkers talking in the breakroom. Anywho, has anybody checked out any of the free stuff from meldaproductions ? http://www.meldaproduction.com/plugins/product.php?id=MFreeEffectsBundle. it looks like a good deal for a newbie who wants to just knock out a good number of the basic effects. it also has some neat ones like mvibrato. The only thing is that i think you have to download all of them and you cant cherry pick which effects you wanna download.
Magnetic Ether Posted January 31, 2013 Posted January 31, 2013 I just got an email from Native Instruments: Looks like Komplete is actually going on sale for once .
ectogemia Posted January 31, 2013 Posted January 31, 2013 I just got an email from Native Instruments: Looks like Komplete is actually going on sale for once . 2 months too late for me D: would be nice if they'd put the upgrade to Ultimate on sale. Or Maschine... I want it inside me...
