KyleJCrb Posted August 24, 2006 Posted August 24, 2006 I have to admit it's been quite awhile since I've listened to the show, but I'm listening now and it's as good as ever. Though you totally slaughtered mine and Kureejii Lea's names, pixie!
zircon Posted August 25, 2006 Posted August 25, 2006 Hey guys, just as a heads up we won't have a show for you this Monday. pixietricks has some important auditions coming up (and a roommate moving in), and I have to work on some music projects that I've been putting off for awhile now. Ah, real life. Anyway, perhaps it is for the better as 1500 STILL isn't out yet... when we do record #055 I'm sure it will be. I promise we'll have some nice coverage of it.
M@DM@X Posted August 25, 2006 Posted August 25, 2006 Anyone else having trouble watching the movie? I'm getting one of these: The movie will play, but I only get audio. That's because you use windows. Pixietricks and I rule, because we use Mac! APPLE RULEZ

Jillian Aversa Posted August 25, 2006 Posted August 25, 2006 Xyco: You have to either download the latest version of Quicktime, or try Real Player and/or VLC. Sorry 'bout that!
RepressedChaos Posted August 30, 2006 Posted August 30, 2006 lol I called in this morning cause I thought I found the composer for the Tetris Music.... well it turns out I found out who invented the Game NOT the composer of the music.... lol silly Omega trix are for kids..
Jillian Aversa Posted August 30, 2006 Posted August 30, 2006 Yeah, I heard your call and I was like, "Huhhh? That doesn't solve the mystery..." ^_~
CE Posted August 30, 2006 Posted August 30, 2006 I don't know what the debate over tetris music is but... * The theme tune used in the Game Boy edition of Tetris (Music A) has become very widely known, to the point that it is the theme song of level 20 of Tetris DS, even though that level is based on the NES version of Tetris. It is a Russian folk tune called "Korobeyniki" or "Korobeiniki." * Music A in the NES version is "Dance Of The Sugar Plum Fairy," a tune noted to be scene 14c of act two of The Nutcracker, which was composed by Tchaikovsky. * Music B in the Tengen version is the Kalinka, a famous Russian song written by Ivan Petrovich Larionov * Music C in the Game Boy version is an arrangement of Johann Sebastian Bach's Suite No. 3 In B Minor, BWV 814, IV. Menuett - Trio.

I sure hope not, and I would think that this has been addressed long before I started coming here, so don't mind this noob comment then.

Ranael Posted September 1, 2006 Posted September 1, 2006 The video episode was awesome. I love the clips of the live performances. Djpretzel sounded awesome and Pixietricks was heavenly and beautiful too. So are there going to be anymore video podcasts in the future?
Jillian Aversa Posted September 1, 2006 Posted September 1, 2006 Welllll, we did just release a little video, but I guess it doesn't count as a full out show. Still, I'm sure there will be more of those in the future, although we will be sticking primarily to audio format.
