Merk Posted May 23, 2006 Posted May 23, 2006 To be fair, we didn't cover the 369 square km. I would have researched where to go, but I sort of figured the person organizing the meetup would know where to go. Our day was pretty packed anyway, the time we would have spent at the arcade/music store we spent waiting at the Olive Garden.
gamerscalling Posted May 24, 2006 Posted May 24, 2006 True... that was a long wait. And a side note, now that I have internet again and at home. I would like to to change what I said at first, from "no reason" to "going somewhere on a whim", I worded it badly... don't think i did not love every moment. P.S. Thanks zircon, for the place to stay and every(jawn).
Nicole Adams Posted May 24, 2006 Posted May 24, 2006 VGDJ: Kills Emo Podcasts Dead. This pic is teh win! Nice work q-pa. Rock on, VGDJ. Rock on. I need to catch up. I'm still on episode #40 and I still gotta take a pic of me with my sticker. Sorry for being such a slacker, guys.
Jillian Aversa Posted May 24, 2006 Posted May 24, 2006 It's okay, Nicole; you'll catch up soon enough. Abadoss: But it doesn't matter what we did in past shows, because we only roll it once per episode! There is a 2 in 6 chance of one of us winning! 0.33333333333333... GAHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!! And yeah, I'm still waiting for the djp-ified version of VGDJ: Kills Emo Podcasts Dead, q-pa.
gamerscalling Posted May 24, 2006 Posted May 24, 2006 Dr. Wily; that was an action shot of me moderating a thread. MWAHAHAHAHAHA I might add a very, very awesome thing to see/hear. The line uttered was priceless.

These do not reflect the odds of possible outcomes for each show. Read here for more information.

This has seriously been driving me insane.
JimSelve Posted May 25, 2006 Posted May 25, 2006 Wow, I'm listening since Episode 15 or something, but haven't posted in this thread the whole time. Shame on me. So here's my chance: Happy Birthday! Awesome pictures you have there. And now I'm really looking forward to this PLAY-documentary. Kudos from germany.
BlueMage Posted May 25, 2006 Posted May 25, 2006 Hmmmm ... makes me wish I could've attended. Oh well, I'm sure we can manage something in Brisbane. We've got plenty of emos to kill dead.
Nicole Adams Posted May 25, 2006 Posted May 25, 2006 Just wonderin' if a video is in the works for the anniversary meet up? Oh, and *rofl* at VGDJ #40 stinger. "I think I'm hyperventilating!"
CE Posted May 25, 2006 Posted May 25, 2006 Just wonderin' if a video is in the works for the anniversary meet up? I'd like info on this too.
Merk Posted May 25, 2006 Posted May 25, 2006 Considering the only video shot to my knowledge was the stuff for Play, I'd have to say no.
Jillian Aversa Posted May 25, 2006 Posted May 25, 2006 Just wonderin' if a video is in the works for the anniversary meet up? I'd like info on this too. Yeah, sorry kids. We were focusing on recording the show, not getting video. Can't very well talk and tape at the same time. But as Merk said, Paul, Paul, and Asif from PLAY- A Video Game Music Documentary got a lot of footage! Hopefully they'll release something soon. When they do, we'll definitely let you guys know. ^_~

Spunodi Posted May 26, 2006 Posted May 26, 2006 Just finished listening to the latest and Kudos to all. I'm enjoying listening to these podcasts and will continue to do so. Makes me think "Bout time I made a mix up to OCR standards"
Benjamin Briggs Posted May 27, 2006 Posted May 27, 2006 psst zircon said it right thonic, with a long O and a very like K sound before it think of the K as a pickup note to the work kthohnick
Cyan_Ide Posted May 29, 2006 Posted May 29, 2006 psstzircon said it right thonic, with a long O and a very like K sound before it think of the K as a pickup note to the work kthohnick Well...I still take comfort in knowing that I was WAY more right than Jill was.

zircon Posted May 29, 2006 Posted May 29, 2006 WAR! Huah! What is it good for, absolutely noth- wait, oops, that's not what I was supposed to do.. uhh.. what I meant to say was; VGDJ episode #042 has been released, and is now available at WWW.VGDJ.NET! A bit shorter than last week, but thoroughly amusing - I guarantee it!
Jillian Aversa Posted May 29, 2006 Posted May 29, 2006 Don't emphasise the 'bane'. Pronounced 'Brisben'. Somebody pointed that out last week. I think he did it intentionally this time, as a joke.
Dr. Wily Posted May 29, 2006 Posted May 29, 2006 Good show guys. I can't believe you're still getting calls about the math odds... it's all explained in my post! Grrrr... Drumultima is pronouncing the names exactly as Americans do, so he's not wrong but we seem to truncate the pronunciation to Brisbn and Melbn. Oh I checked the shownotes but the list of background music hasn't been updated yet, just wondering what the tune was at the very end when zircon was doing his ' listner mix commentary' parody.
