DarkeSword
What a Deal! This is a thread for sharing great deals for stuff like games, books, movies, etc. that you like. Guidelines: Post deals for specific items that you want to recommend, not big sales with of tons of items you don't really know about. Include a personal recommendation, not just a link to the deal. Share stuff that's available for a discounted price. It's gotta be a deal. No regular price items. This isn't a thread to pimp out your own stuff (i.e. your new album, game, whatever you're working on) Don't keep posting stuff multiple times a day. Space things out a bit. Let's see your deals! DarkeSword
I'll start! Tor has discounted the eBook of Brandon Sanderson's Way of Kings down to 2.99 for a little while. This is a great book and a kick-off to his big fantasy series. Lots of cool magic systems and great characterization. He's also an OCR fan! http://www.tor.com/blogs/2013/03/the-way-of-kings-299-ebook-giveaway-2 WHAT A DEAL!
Bahamut
I know this was posted in the Sonic All Stars Racing Transformed thread, but the game itself is on sale on Steam for a few more hours for $15 - it's a steal! Glad Stevo pointed others and me to it - had a blast playing it some with zircon, Jill, and Arrowned a few weeks ago. Steam also currently has an indie game sale going on until Mar. 29th: http://store.steampowered.com/sale/indie_spring2013 .
DrumJ8
I'm in the middle of a free Intro to Music Production course at coursera.org. I got an interesting email today stating the following: "Berklee will give my Introduction to Music Production Courserians a $300 discount off the regular tuition of my music production courses for the spring semester. You earn college credit for these courses." The Berklee online courses are normally $1200-$1400 for a 12 week course, and even with this discount I can't swing it .. but if I had the money I'd be all up on it. I imagine the discount would apply even if people signed up for the free course now.
Binjovi
A little bit esoteric, but for anyone who plays Guild Wars 2, all this month they've been running a deal-a-day sale in the in-game store. I've seen several boosters, outfits, makeover kits, and misc. items going for cheap so far.

Brandon Strader
http://www.greenmangaming.com/ For anything you could buy on Steam, but for at least 20% cheaper
DarkeSword
That's not a specific deal. Read the guidelines.
Garpocalypse
http://www.greenmangaming.com/For anything you could buy on Steam, but for at least 20% cheaper I don't know anything about those sites myself but I just read an article about people that sell steam keys using stolen credit card numbers. If the card gets disputed the developer has to pay it back while the 3rd party gets the money that should have gone to the developer. Also not a specific deal. nyuk nyuk nyuk. I plan on picking up a few indie games during the current indie game sale on steam though!

Read the guidelines. Let me help him out then; the current deal is if you Preorder Bioshock Infinite, you get everything that Steam is offering (Bioshock 1, XCOM) and a third free game from this list: Spec Ops: The Line Civilization V BioShock 2 Mafia II The Darkness II. also you can get $14 back on this same order That's four games for what comes out to be ~$45 Edited March 22, 2013 by Gollgagh

Nutritious
Just got an email from gog.com that they're having a 60% off sale on some awesome classic PC games. A couple examples of games (that I still occasionally play) that are now $2.39 each: Master of Orion I + II (combined pack) Total Annhilation: Commander Pack
Argle
bloody GOG is always having sales. I've spent so much money there, I'm too scared to even tally up how much.
Brandon Strader
On GMG Viking: Battle for Asgard is 75% off for the weekend, plus it stacks with the 20% off digital coupon. I can't recommend this game enough, seems like it slid under everyone's radar, but it is brilliant and deserving, for much more than $3, but there it is. I don't know how it plays on PC though, I had it on Xbox360, should be good though. Very good game. I'd buy it myself if I didn't have such a big backlog, and BioShock Infinite coming out in a day. :/
Dhsu
Just bought this: http://slickdeals.net/permadeal/91996/newegg-powercolor-radeon-hd-7870-myst-edition-2gb-video-card-bioshock-infinite-tomb-raider-pc-game-coupons Apparently it competes with cards costing $100+ more, and AMD is running an awesome special until tomorrow where you get 2 free recently-released games with Radeon cards (Bioshock Infinite and Tomb Raider in this case). kevinvillecco
Most of you probably have already played it like me, but Just Cause 2 is on Sale on Steam this week for 3 DOLLARS! Quite a bargain... http://store.steampowered.com/app/8190/

avaris
Newegg and TigerDirect are having Spring warehouse clearing sales. SICK deals all around on everything.
XPRTNovice
http://www.tigerdirect.com/applications/searchtools/item-Details.asp?EdpNo=7835033&sku=B69-0824 This seems like a pretty ridiculous deal - $280 with the rebate? I don't NEED to upgrade my tower, but at this price I am seriously considering it. I could probably re-sell the computer I have now for about $200, and it's only a 4 core with 8GB DDR2. Would really love some experts' opinions on this before I pull the trigger.

I have 2.5GHz and I've had this for like 7 or 8 years now, need an upgrade because my gpu is bottlenecked but I can't afford a big computer upgrade.
