Cryha Posted August 23, 2014 Posted August 23, 2014 I met some OCR people at Video Games Live in Louisville in 2008ish, so I think there are probably some more folks near you who didn't get put on the map. Quote

Arrow Posted August 23, 2014 Author Posted August 23, 2014 Found this amazing map today of where Chiptune artists, video game bands, etc. are located: http://chiptuneswin.com/blog/chipartists-list-and-map/ Wondering if there's something like this for the OCR folks? I just moved to Henderson KY just south of Evansville IN and would like to know where are the VGM lovers/makers are is at am. I tried searching the forums but didn't find anything. lol hlep? I just added you to the map, but since (as Cryha mentions) people getting added to the map depends on them posting in this thread with their location, and nobody close to you has posted... well. When I zoom out I see there's a ton of folks in various directions within a three hour drive of you (The Indianapolis group has the largest number), but that's a long way to go meet the "locals"! Phonetic Hero Posted August 23, 2014 Posted August 23, 2014 My place of residence has changed, and I'm living with ecto and Ben in Indianapolis. I just noticed I still had a spot in KS Quote
Bahamut Posted August 23, 2014 Posted August 23, 2014 I too had to update where I live - I'm now in Mountain View, CA! Quote
Anorax Posted August 23, 2014 Posted August 23, 2014 (edited) Might as well jump on the moving location train. Mark me down near Sylva, NC (over towards Asheville) EDIT: something I have been wondering about, but never commented on: Why are there two layers for locations? Layer 2 shows a full list of points for that layer, but Layer 1 only has "All Items"? Edited August 23, 2014 by Anorax Quote
Arrow Posted August 24, 2014 Author Posted August 24, 2014 I've moved as well, about 10 miles. Uhhh, 10 miles in which direction? Can't move your mark unless I know an exact spot. EDIT: something I have been wondering about, but never commented on: Why are there two layers for locations? Layer 2 shows a full list of points for that layer, but Layer 1 only has "All Items"? Because Layer 1 had so many items in it that it won't display individual names in the list anymore and even started crashing the map, so I had no choice but to move a whole bunch of them to a new Layer 2 to lighten the load. Omega Posted August 29, 2014 Posted August 29, 2014 Eh, what the hell... Omega to Oulu, Finland. Quote
Chernabogue Posted August 30, 2014 Posted August 30, 2014 You can move my pin to Strasbourg, France. Moving there for at least 2 years. Quote
Arrow Posted August 31, 2014 Author Posted August 31, 2014 All updated. Also, Bahamut moving his pin a few days ago might have accidentally moved more people in Layer 2 along with him (thankfully there's not that many people in Layer 2), so if anyone sees they're out in the ocean again or something, let me know so I can fix it. Argle Posted September 1, 2014 Posted September 1, 2014 Uhhh, 10 miles in which direction? Can't move your mark unless I know an exact spot. I mainly mentioned it as a joke, but for the sake of accuracy, Tinley Park, IL. Quote

Kizyr Posted September 11, 2014 Posted September 11, 2014 Huh, I could've sworn I dropped a pin for me and Jenner when this was still generally edit-able. Oh well. Drop a pin for the two of us in 22202 (Arlington, VA). KF Quote
Arrow Posted September 12, 2014 Author Posted September 12, 2014 All updated before I run off to MAG 8.5! (was amused by how the default location for 22202 resulted in me putting a pin for Kizyr and Jenner smack in the middle of an airport) Quote
