Xelebes
So, anyone planning to take advantage of sales on Boxing Day? Not sure what will be out there on sale - though I know some stores are going to advertise some leather chairs for 70 bucks and stuff like that. Don't know what is being sold on the electronics stores so we'll see what bargains are out there.
Arek the Absolute
Boxing day? Is that where you canadians like box each other over a deal or something? Ah you canadians...
Xelebes
Boxing Day is traditionally the day where the lord serves his servants.
Arek the Absolute
Lord: Alright, today is boxing day! Servants: yay? Lord: So who is up first? Servant: I guess I will go first Lord: ALRIGHT FOO, BEST BE READY TO REPRESENT, CAUSE LORD "OH MIGHTY" IS GONNA KNOCK YOU BACK TO TUESDAY
Hyperion5182
No no no boxing day is where people in these countries put on a pair of boxing gloves and run around smashing each other in the face last one standing wins bragging rights!! Psychonaut
Whatever Boxing Day is, it involves Kraft Dinner to be sure.
DJ Omnimaga
across the years over here boxing days has become more and more a myth. Sometimes during christmas holidays they increase their prices, then on boxing day they put them back at the original price. There isn't even money to save anymore. Best sales are two weeks afterward in shopping center, until the middle of january, or out of business sales for stores that didn't made enough money during holidays
Dunnowhathuh
I'm still sitting at home and too lazy to go out. Nothing that I really want right now anyway.
The Damned
I have to go use my gift card at some place, because they're having a massive sale, with everything at 50% off.
Nec5
Larry Merchant will begin selling T-shirts.
Less Ashamed Of Self
Boxing day sales frequently turn into boxing week sales. I will be taking my first available time off to go visit Future Shop and consider either an mp3 player or (finally) indulgence in a second monitor. Not sure yet. I will post again later with an update.
The Orichalcon
*shrugs* I have everything I want. Might go buy some clothes while they're a bit cheaper.
watkinzez
Didn't really go for the sales, as I pretty much knew what I wanted to get. Yoinked Ender's Game, Seinfeld Season 3 and Disgea 2 for $140. Would've gotten the Coupling box set (awesome show), but I couldn't find it. Ah well. WesPip
There was a 42" Samsung flat panel Plasma HDTV advertised for 1299.99, which is damned near half the normal price [usually 23/2400], but I checked online and they were already sold out. And quite frankly, I'm too lazy to fight crowds in a few hours unless I'm 100% guaranteed to get one, which I obviously wouldn't be. Shame, I've been looking for decent prices on flat panel HDs for a while now.

A-RoN
*shrugs* I have everything I want. Might go buy some clothes while they're a bit cheaper. Yeah, I'm just going to miss it (Boxing Day is not a holiday where I work). I'm heading to West 49 after my shift to get one more pair of slacks. Less Ashamed Of Self
Nothing too special at Future Shop. Ipod Shuffle for 89.99 CDN, a decent 21" LCD HD TV for around 560... Nothing I actually SHOULD buy...
