Mega Man 2 'Project X2 - Crash Man'

LOVE the lo-fi sound here. In fact, I can't think of a single element here that doesn't work - it's well arranged and well produced, and quality is high all around. If after hearing this mix you don't run out and download the rest of X2, I don't know what will convince you.

When I first heard this....Well.....

I was extemely let down.

Unsatisfied.

But after listening to it a little more,

I really liked the beat, and eventually I kept listening to it.

One of my least faves from Project X,

but still pretty damn good.

(I hope I don't get into trouble for cursing.)

Uhhhhh....what? This was funkiness out of its mind, but I don´t think I´m not a very big fan of woah in the back and the mega-woofer-dark synth.'

Oh, well, but it wouldn´t have hurt to be an another rockremix, although nearly their whole project is made like that.

Again, MY LEAD GUITAR? WHERE IS IT!!! GREAT start, and as usual, awesome background, but no FOREGROUND. A nice distortion guitar for the melody would have been great man... guess you just like those synths eh... keep trying harder. Good beginner's work.

Funky and creative sound design, but i'm not really feeling the lead; I think it needs more sustain and a little more beef. The new jack sound clip was a bit strange, unless the clip has a longer history than I know of, since the aim of this song seems to be 70ish retro, not early 90's.

The scratching at the end seemed too bassy and a little sloppy, but the thought was there. Decent little mix, on the short side, but it doesn't overstay it's welcome.

I don't think the album from whence this was cut was like its other a continuous flow of music, so abrupt stops aren't quite as forgivable. Overall its not too bad, but simplistic and short. Still, I like the attempted feel going on here, like a record being played, hence the grain and scratching at the end. I do recommend checking this out and the rest of the album.

Oooh, I remember I used to listen to this every now and again years ago. XD

It's nothing groundbreaking. It's a catchy cover of a catchy theme. Fun to listen to, for sure.

I don't really care what anyone says, this ReMix put a smile on my face just from the idea. Funky fresh hip hop beats made from and in addition to Crash Man's theme was great, and the Woo! Yeah! samples fit right in. A little short and most likely could be expanded/evolved today, but for when it was made and what the idea is, I like it.
