Going to give this one the benefit of the doubt and say it's (probably) an homage to Soule's work. homages are different from plagiarisms, or so i've been told. Really though, under the statutes of international copyright, this fits under the Japanese interpretation of fair use as implied by this timeless Japanese proverb. "...copy it and make it smaller." (probably)

Came for the title and was not disappointed lol

Messed around with FMDrive and landed on this. Didn't put a ton of focus into getting the notes articulated right but I think it's fairly close. Breakdown of what's used at the end. I was surprised that the rhythm guitar actually made up as much of the total sound as it did. A layered bass was only used as a secondary and was an octave higher than the rhythm guitar. For fun I here it is double tracked

I like this! I've never played Parodius, but I already like the soundtrack after hearing this piece. This track is full of life and promises excitement. I really like the flow of the piece, moving from whimsical to formal then to what sounds like a chase then back to whimsical - transitions are smooth, mix is good for the most part, and the different styles of each source is blend together very well. This is a very cool arrangement! Seriously, you should be proud of this. Looking forward to seeing the post for the first OCR track by Ganaé!

I don't remember doing it or them asking, but it's been so long, and I tend to forget a lot of stuff. So it was totally surprising to see them on there. I was a really good looking baby. Even when I was crying my head off, which is 1 of the pictures.

Super conservative but good metal guitars. Drums aren't blowing me away. edit 7/5/16: Wow this is conservative. Both the remix and original are at 130bpm. I layered them together and the arrangements are identical. I'm leaning heavily toward NO but am I wrong to reject this for being conservative when it's a metal interpretation? It's not a midi rip. I'm torn. Call me Rip Torn.

Congratulations, you've just literally said Jack Thompson was right about everything and videogames make people violent and sexist despite literally all evidence we have showing otherwise. You're right about one thing though, there's nothing really to discuss with someone that holds a religious belief in the evil influence of media even when contradicted by the scientific evidence that it doesn't work like that.
