  1. You'll eventually get a fire technique you can melt it with. PM me if you're stuck with anything else. Okami's my favourite game Topic: +1 for the Sonic 3 barrel. I didn't complete that game until I was 23! Getting all the cages in the original Rayman. You can't finish the game with anything other than 100% completion. I did it for the first time about 3 years ago. That pink world you unlock at the end of Super Meat Boy. A steaming pile of nope. Sonic 4 because it was terrible.

  2. From the looks of the rest of the typography, they have probably sold about 4 shirts. I don't think it's that big of a deal.

  3. Hello, I am Reinhold from the Game-Art-HQ community. Back in 2015 we collaborated with OCR already and members from GA-HQ drew illustrations for the excellent Final Fantasy IX: Worlds Apart OCR Album. We are creating a couple of video game art tributes / collaborations per year and I thought it could result in something quite awesome if we can do another "Music & Visual Art" Project. I am writing this post because I myself am searching - Enthusiastic remixers that love the music of fighting games of the past and today - People that know what is important in a music piece and can basically do the judge part. I myself am a vgm addict since at least 1992 when I heard the timeless Guile theme for the first time in the SNES port of Street Fighter II but I believe that if we can do another collaboration, I leave the music part completely in the arms of the guys that are actually musicans. My idea for a Fighting Game Music & Art Project by OCR and Game-Art-HQ would be relative challenging and unorthodox for an OCR Album I guess. Fighting games are all about the fighting obviously. There are usually two characters beating the shit out of each other, and my idea would be to move this element into music tracks. In short, mashups. Ryu vs. Chun Li with elements of both characters themes in one track like they are basically fighting each other. Game-Art-HQ's Artists would come into play by creating illustrations of exactly those character matches. Including crossovers. Like if one of OCR's remixers has an excellent vision of creating a remix with Geese Howards theme with the one of M.Bison instead of another Fatal Fury or King of Fighters character, one of our artists would illustrate a fight between Geese and M.Bison. I think such a project should start relative small with a goal of 10 tracks. Ideal might be a mix of popular characters and games as well as to cover a few of the rarely remixed games. Each character should be a part of only one track, personally I would love to have 20 character themes of different games there. If you are familiar with fighting games, you know that a ton of them have excellent soundtracks, even if we go back to games like TMNT Tournament fighters or the earliest of the SNK fighting games like the first Fatal Fury or Art of Fighting. Here is a small selection of artworks that were created for Game-Art-HQ Art Collaborations in the past, we have a ton of very talanted artists in our community that love video games and just as much as everyone here: These are artworks made for our Legend of Zelda Bestiary Project, our Fighting Game Boss Tribute and the Nintendo 64 Anniversary we celebrated last year with games like DK 64. Would be awesome to get a new music and art collaboration together, I am open to support other OCR projects as well ^^ Greets and happy easter days everyone, Reinhold Hoffmann

  4. I just put it on my desk between the screen and the keyboard. That way I can easily use it while recording some parts and still access the keyboard to put it in record mode or to stop recording. You need a decent amount of space though (depending on your controller).

  5. Hello, everyone! Just wanted to announce that we have our very first finished track under the New Management - @Jorito has now completed his remix Masters of Mischief, featuring a stylish rap by @Smooth4Lyfe! Anyone who wants to give it a listen can check it out in the private forum. There is a lot of wonderful music happening in this album so far - keep up the great work everyone!

  6. The April 15 check-in date has passed. Thanks everyone who submitted a WIP, and thanks also to the new signups! There's definitely been enough work to keep this project going. In fact, if all the WIPs get finished, that's probably enough for an EP quantity-wise; I'd just look for a few more to fill out the wrestling roster to make sure everyone has an opponent. Unfortunately, @WillRock and @DarkDjinn are MIA, so Death and The Creature are now available to claim. I've set the next check-in date as 3 months from now, July 15. At that time, I'd like everyone who recently signed up and hasn't given me a WIP yet (@HoboKa, @That Headband Guy, and @elenaiwilliams) to send me at least an early WIP, and everyone who's given me an early WIP (@Sbeast, Moire Effect, @ibeginwiththeendinmind, and @JonnyAtma) to send me some additional work. Thanks again to everyone! This is starting to look pretty good!

  7. I'm past that. Orochi was EASY. Now on the Sunken Ship. Now I know why everyone who's played it says "It's the best Zelda I ever played." It IS the Zelda for Playstation

  8. You're probably right, but damn if it doesn't make my heart hurt a bit.

  9. Well, I dunno about combining the two in a giant mashup, but I've almost got something that'd work for Mute City and the way it ends could turn into an interesting transition to Cutting Edge of Notion. But I haven't even really looked too much at that one. Granted I'm still having issues getting a decent drum beat I like with Mute City. Edit - So, after some more work on my Mute City bit I think it works well with the transition I have in place now. Just some basic toying around. This isn't a "proper mashup" but more like having two tracks follow one another, but kind of feed of the energy of the last one.

  10. I've been okay but due to a family emergency, you'll have to wait until at least next Sunday. It should be a good remix though ...

  11. Great arrangement. Agree that the samples aren't the best and it's noticable from the start. I really liked the transitions, they were organic, and had a presence of they own, I don't normally like medleys but this one was great. Having played BotW at a friends house and slightly missing the zelda music it was nice to hear freshly composed. Due to the nature of the samples the track is probably one I can feed into my automated playlist generator system... but if it's ever souped up, I'd include this track with the best of em in a heartbeat!! Thanks for the experience.

  12. Neat! Love the floatiness of this mix and the variations on the theme. The drums doesn't quite fit in though. Maybe it's the contrast between wet and dry that does it.

  13. I made this video in anticipation of this song one day being posted, in case anybody was curious where the title of the remix comes from: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xQS2_Mt6_Lc

  14. You are .. so far. There are still 5 claims left open! I'm not sure exactly what form this will take yet, but that's one idea. It would make sense to have specific folks voice the characters throughout that album, wouldn't it? I recorded my own voice as Fox and Falco for my Bad Weather WIP (yes, I do have something, just not enough to post yet), but I think it would be awesome to have the same voice for a character no matter where it is on that album. I may have to get you to record a line or two for me if we go ahead with this. You did. There are a couple of wrong notes in there, but I'm not in front of my keyboard right now. Shouldn't this be posted in your remake project thread instead? Or are you still building that? --- Who else would be interesting in voice acting if we went with that? The main 6 roles would be Fox, Falco, Slippy, Peppy, Pepper, and Andross, and we'll include Krystal. Not sure which characters would be included at this point. I guess I would take Pepper, since I already voiced him in SCRAMBLE and I'll take Andross if no one else does. Still looking for more feedback on the narrative too - let us know what you think.
