  1. That seems pretty reasonable an explanation. I still don't want to click the link, but that makes more sense.
  2. So what are your prices then?

  3. WANT :::Games::: Original Super Famicom System w/controllers SFC Games - doesn't really matter which, but if you have a Final Fantasy VI or Actraiser or another japanese equivalent of a SNES classic, man, that'd be awesome. Doesn't necessarily have to be working, it's mostly to satisfy my collector's ambitions, though it would be cool if I could play a Japanese FFVI.... man, that'd be great.
  4. I got something weird in my email today and I didn't know if anyone else knew what it might be. Email reads as follows: "Hi Meteo Xavoer, ScarlettPrestonciP3SX has requested to follow you on Playlist.com. We need to confirm that you want ScarlettPrestonciP3SX to follow you on playlist.com. To confirm this follower request, click the link below: http://www.playlist.com/user/10859665/connections/confirm! Thanks! — The Playlist.com Team This message was intended for Meteo Xavoer. Want to control which emails you receive from playlist.com? Go to: http://www.playlist.com/user/10859665/edit! My name is misspelled twice, neither Meteo Xavoer nor this user appears on Google, the user is recognized as the same handle as "do-not-reply@support.projectplaylist.net" and I'm pretty sure I've never signed up for an account on playlist.com or projectplaylist.com. Does anyone else have an idea what this might be?
  5. You set me up for it, goofball. :P

Remember the words of William Shakespeare:

"Gee Em CHRYSLER WUT is that SMELLLLL!!?!?!?"

What he didn't know was that Havana during a heat wave did not exist yet, and wouldn't exist for 450 more years.

  6. You said it, not me. :P

  7. I fucking love z3ta. Love it Love it Love it. If you're looking to still blow more money on an expensive sound library, go take a look at Soundsonline.com and look up Titan.
  8. I don't see why many of these points need to be driven down through the ground and then through Chinatown. A lot of what I'm reading seems self-explanatory and fairly obvious.
  9. Maty? I've heard a lot of variations of Meteo before, but that one's never come up before.

  10. Wouldn't there be a problem there if who you're selling it to is not a student? How are you going to do that?
  11. That could be any background music from anything. It definitely has that Bomberman 64 sound, but the N64 would probably explode if it had to music quality like that. Coincidentally, the OCR mascot up in the corner is Bomberman as of writing, If you want something very similar, download Palpable's Pilotwings "Fly" remix. It sounds almost exactly like that.
  12. Are you looking for tracks specifically designed for the film or are you also going to be using snippets of things to go along with the film like a lot of dark artsy kinda films do? If thats the case, I got some stuff you can take a look at if you're interested. Its already done and professionally mastered and so forth.
  13. Did you join solely to put us down? Of course it isn't going to sound like Sonic the Hedgehog, thats the point of a remix. It's taking the source information and re-arranging it so it gives you a whole different experience with the same guts of the original inside of it. In any case with the hypothesis here, I very much doubt we could get away with slow orchestral remixes of level music inside a fast level, so you don't have anything to worry about there.
  14. YES! Oh, I'm looking forward to this!
  15. http://www.soundsonline.com/Chris-Hein-Horns-Vol.-3-pr-BS-432.html Is this kinda what you're looking for?
  16. Hey dude - I'm totally playing along there in the Schizofrenic topic. I figure a paranoid thing that like would be an awesome start. Play along dude! :)

  17. Oh, thats how we're going to play the game? I see your Dream Theatre and raise you Steve Hackett. Neblix, just promise me you won't be one of those asshole guitar guys who's all about the tricks and not the song. Steve Hackett does both, but he does it to show off the song, not his guitar skillz. THIS IS WHO YOU SHOULD BE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! >
  18. Ok, so I did some more mixing work on it. I fixed some things, added some humanization to the drums, and I added automation clips for all the sustaining instruments, strings, choir, flute. http://ocrwip.fireslash.net/?fid=692 Am I getting closer? EDIT: Updated File 2/26/10. I played with FL Studio Maximus instead of Soundgoodizer and the result is much better, to me at least.
  19. You're taking a lot of my points differently or much further than they were intended, but ok, you're right, that's not what this topic is about. I'm just suggesting its not the best way to get to your goal.
  20. Well there wouldn't be at this early point, you haven't put years of effort in. You have to remember that for every Stevie Ray Vaughn and Jimi Hendrix who succeeded to their height being self-taught, there's about 50,000 other people who didn't, probably half that not even coming close to close. It's easy to glorify self-teaching when you drop names like those and say "Stevie Ray Vaughn's self taught and look at him!" because you're looking at what he achieved by TODAY and looking back. It doesn't work at square one looking forward. I mean, its always possible you'll make something out of it, but I don't ever recommend self-teaching over good old fashioned instructors. Those people gotta eat too, you know.
  21. I appreciate that, and I fully understand and appreciate your opinions on my situation.
