I have quite a bit of experience writing. I've had works published, I've done 80+ game reviews, I've been hired to write for games already and it's what I do for a living at the company I work for. It's pretty much my one and only professional talent. But yeah, I do writing, as you can see. Somewhat paid work there or otherwise?

I think the audio shouldn't be any reference to Street Fighter and should just be it's own, catchy set of tunes. One of the things that makes parodies successful is that not every aspect of the parody is designed to be a comical send-up of the original material. This is one of the reasons THIS IS SPINAL TAP became such a classic parody movie of rock bands in the 70s - the music itself was actually quite good.

Using ripped off SFX is definitely a bad idea, especially for a cool sounding project like this. This prospect interests me and I would like to contribute to it. Are you looking for a group of contributions from different composers or one artist to do the whole thing?

Nothing significant. Still in the process, but even if we busted ass to get this in the pipeline, we'd still be waiting about the same for it to come out. Be patient, it's coming.

I bet it is easier than it looks, I just haven't been able to SEE any of the Youtube demos so far actually connect those dots for me and really show me how it works. Still, even this is helpful so far, thanks Flex!

I've heard some great things about it and great things done with it, my biggest fear is not knowing how to use the sequencer or needing a whole other composition style to be able to generate tunes on it. The step/block sequencer is confusing to me and I can't tell how you know which sequence is which.

This app is currently on sale at Nintendo eShop for $17.00 and I feel like it may be a great opportunity to finally get to create the more simplified MIDI-ish music I've wanted to make without having to mix it and arrange it in my huge DAW setup. Has anyone ever used or made any tunes on this? I love the idea of not being exclusively shackled to this computer to generate tunes anymore, but I've never composed outside of a piano and Fl Studio before. I have no idea how this kind of step sequencer works. Been watching videos on it, but I still don't quite get it (or haven't seen really what I'm missing yet). So I guess the short way to ask is how hard it would be for a hardcore FL Studio guy to translate to Korg M01D. If I had more than $30 outside my regularly budgeted items to spend, I'd just go ahead and get it, but until then I need to be extra cautious.

Website's being built last I talked to Rozovian. I spoke with Emunator about a month ago, he contacted me about needing a .WAV for the evaluations, so it's still in process, there's still just a que of other shit on OCR's schedule of activity before it can come out. The new OCR migration to Invision being a big one, I'm sure.

Not going to lie, it will take me quite a while to get used to the new setup here. Damn aspie way of living...

Anything coming up on the horizon besides Bravely Second that one should look out for? I find the upcoming 3DS game lists online here oddly lacking, as if there were seriously only a few games coming out for it each month.
