  1. Ohay, it IS officially Wintereenmas. FUCK DA HATERZ. *cough* Yes well, it's all in good fun anyways.
  2. Well, Lover Reef is actually pretty related. I think it was even Pixie that broke down the lyrics. Basically all the "sea of sand" "frozen land" et al were references to the levels. So there.
  3. The real strength of the Niho, though, is the status items. Part of what helped me kill Gilgamesh despite fully healing him was the speed with which I killed Enkidu, via Niho+Remedy on him. Gave the poor little guy a buttload of status effects. I found myself switching accessories in mid-battle a lot for that one anyways, 'cause I got so damned sick of Disable, so I'd switch between my Genji Gloves and Black Belt. What a hassle.
  4. It would've been cheap if it actually told you how to use it. If you don't bother looking it up, it's so useless. Also, know that elixer+niho doesn't...work. I fully healed Gilgamesh once he was almost dead. ;.; [worth repeating, I figure]
  5. I can't help but think this is a ploy to make you stand in front of a silent character for hours on end.
  6. ^ I'd say just keep a guy or two out of range for that last bit, so they survive. I used to have that problem too. And yeah, Gilgamesh...was a much harder fight than it should've been. Y'see, he was almost dead, and I was Nihopolaoa [or whatever]'ing him with X-Potions, and I saw an Elixer sitting there. Figured it wouldn't KILL him, but do 9,999 damage. Seems I was wrong. Seems it STILL FULLY HEALED HIM. So I basically fought him twice, only the second time he didn't have Enkidu, had his almost-dead-stat-boosts, and my guys weren't at full. It was not friendly. However, the thing with the sword after you beat him was pretty epic. Also, I now have Genji Gloves and a Masamune. This makes me happy.
  7. Though it doesn't strike me as particularly likely, someone else COULD train the new hosts, such as Rayza, Aurora, or even a certain lack-of-wang-type-person, WHO SHALL REMAIN NAMELESS. AND ALSO WANGLESS.. Like I said, hardly likely, but certainly not an impossibility.
  8. There's no unsubscribe link that works in the email itself? That's quite unusual. So it IS just ETERNAL SPAM.
  9. You don't need experience for this type of thing. If it's a hassle to navigate after 5 seconds, it'll be a hassle after 5 months. It doesn't change, though...it has since I posted. Not the inconvenience, just the set up. Anyways, I said it was my opinion. I just don't like it. Obviously, wait for more feedback, and don't change it on MY account. I'M JUST THE FIRST FEEDBACK.
  10. Obviously, I only speak for myself, but I don't like the most recent changes here. Subforums: not so nice.
  11. ^ Yeah, right near the River ride or whatever it's called. The one with the afro chick.
  12. I was about to say that. If you just read them again, they'll be marked read.
  13. Whoops, I thought I commented. Sounds pretty good. I was concerned about the reMIX bit of it originally [as a lot of orchestral mixes tend to be more RE and less MIX], but having heard it eased that quite a bit. Of course the source is still pretty recognizable, but I think you did a great job with this one. So..uh, good luck.
  14. That's a very nice simile. Not exactly one that rolls off the tongue, mind you.
  15. I was going to quote Pixie and point out some stuff, but it seems to have been covered by Syl, Coop, Monobrow, and a few others. As such, I instead offer this in regards to them. QFE
  16. That's essentially what I was getting at with my post, though this sums it up quite succinctly. How can one weigh the pros and cons of something when they only bother noticing the cons, right? As melodramatic as it is, UnMod was something of a family, albeit a disfunctional one, then some random G-Man comes and exterminates them. Imbalance at best.
  17. Yes, I agree fully with this. If only you were "more" than a judge and were also a moderator. 'Course, being just a judge is still preferable to a judge with delusions of mod-itude *cough*.
  18. I'd like to point something out that probly won't be responded to, but I feel the need to point it out nonetheless. The problem with this is, while they all agreed with each other than UnMod had to go, it's because none of them are UnModders. Had you on your staff any UnModder [though to be fair, virtually none would be suitable, but The Coop comes to mind], then I'm quite sure there would've been a vocal and concise set counterpoints presented (Liontamer and Darkesword were the closest things the community had to "UnModders" as far as mods go, and obviously neither was one at heart). While I understand that UnMod would, despite being "unmoderated", create more work for mods, I find it hard to believe that it was substantial, based on how little of what was posted was actually illegal and/or in direct violation of UnMod's rules and as such not necessary work for a moderator [and, once again to be fair, we did have a LOT of shit to sort through to find the good stuff, but we did so individually, not with the help of moderation]. I suppose the main point here is, of course they all wanted it deleted, as none of them made their homes there (or even visited those disfunctional relatives who had). However, I still find it considerate of you to take the time to explain your decision in more detail than the other staff had so far been willing or able to do. So thanks for that, at least.
  19. Until our OL's decided to abandon us. WE ARE NOW NU-AGE OR SOMETHING. Still, good times were had, back in the day. Oh, side note: although I'm pretty sure he never plays Halo2 anymore, Lasakon actually..GOT A MIC. Shocking, I know.
  20. ^ The font, I like. The apparent lack of border, not so much.
