Man, that's a lot of posts... But yeah, at some point you have to wonder why so many SFX are used in many games...

The best idea is to make a pilot. One, you'll see how much work it is. Two, we'll see what you have to give. Three, I like the number three. It's not a bad idea to try and revive it, and I feel that anyone telling you not to try would not be doing this in the interest of the community. However, should it not be to the standards of quality established previously, be prepared to not have your "pilot" picked up.

To all of you who have seen Speed Racer: Were you on the edge of your seat at the end of the movie? I was. In Iron Man, I knew he was gonna win. It made it boring. In Speed Racer, I knew he was gonna win, but it made it a hell of a show, because at that point, I felt they could make him finish second and not ruin the end of the movie. It was a thrill ride. Even people who did not know a thing about Speed Racer were enjoying this. It has everything a "cool" movie can have: fast car, hot girls (that were not just there to be pleasing to the eye), engaging story told in a great manner and funny, yet interesting, characters. Speed Racer was not a movie supposed to change the world, however, I am sure it should change the way people see movies. From the beginning with Speed in school, to the zebras, everything was stunning, colorful, gorgeous, and harmonious.

"overclocking" the song?

So I finally decided to listen to this. I used to be that when the shuffle landed on that song, I would press next. I realized I wasn't being fair. So I listened to it once. I rated it 3 stars on my ipod (which puts it in an occasionally listened to playlist). During the next song, I was kinda missing the energy. So I hit back. I liked it more the second time around, because I could pick out elements more, and stop seeing the song as a whole. So I listened to it a third time. And a fourth. That was yesterday. Today, I start up my ipod, it's this song again. I simply put it on repeat. I have been listening to it in a loop for about an hour now. Still not bored of it. I uped its rating to 5 stars. I think the energy in this remix is what makes it a song I can listen to in a loop. The technical aspect is great, but where it shines is in the performance. And it is rare to see a performance oriented mix, most songs here are technical oriented songs. All in all, I just have to say: I love this song.

Problem with VG movies is: Games that are short enough to be a movie don't have a real scenario (IE Metroid NES, REZ or Ikaruga). Games that have a good enough scenario are too long (IE Metroid Prime, Halo, FF8, Resident Evil). The only example of a game that would work out is Zelda. You don't need to turn an actual game into a movie, what you can do is build a movie that exists within the mythos, that tells the story of another Link, and that is not covered by a game prior to the movie release. Then you release a "Zelda Something or another: The Game" and you are set.

Hmmm... I think the problem is that we have too many rookies and not enough old blood. We need someone who's gonna be able to lead everyone beyond the regular season. We have a great captain, but he needs someone who's played in the big leagues for a while. How about we trade some of our talented recruits for a big name, like Uematsu. The whole team would benefit from that addition and the rookies could benefit from being moved in another club. I say we get rid of anyone with dj in their names except the holy pretzel.

Ok, I lost my post to FF crashing... Stupid WoW pranks :S Anyway, the gist of it: Sketchy, but possible. The story in every zelda is a retelling, therefore they can adapt it to the movie format. IGN is a big company, they have the money for both an elaborate prank or fronting the costs for a movie. Especially one that is a sure hit in the box office.

Wake up at 7, do paper route. Ride bike to rental place, rent chrono trigger when it opened at 8:30. Start playing at 9:00 Get up from playing at 5 AM. Pee. Do paper route. I may or may not have eaten breakfast. Sit down and play until 5:30 PM. Bring back game to rental place, buy game. Go back home. Sleep.

It's an interesting project. I loved the Bubbleman stage. Boss fight seemed too long, but still. The fact is, there are lots of games mixed into this and it is worth keeping an eye on it.

however, your provider might have a hard time connecting to the JAPANESE server. Seems to me that once you are on the network, there would be less lag server to server.
