To elaborate, Nekofrog's point being is that there are other rpgs that actually, holy shit wait for it... are better than SMRPG. What SMRPG has running for itself is the nostalgia factor along with it's own unique, if not, imo, simplified introduction to the RPG genre. To blatantly say that "it's the best rpg out there" with nothing to really support that claim just makes one look foolish and worse, a fanboy that ought to be shunned. I enjoyed the game as much as any one who've played it the first time and went back to find everything, but I don't consider it the best rpg out there... Possibly a good game to introduce the RPG genre for newcomers, but not the best...

Samples... MM2 Wily Castle Stage 1 http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=BT9OT4hsWYk Woodman Stage Airman Stage (for some reason Airman is something of a meme though now dead one I believe...) Also Obligatory POST

Considering the audience here, you don't actually think we don't pirate stuff do ya..?
-
Not at all, made sure I made good friends and kicked the asses of those that wish to rebel against me.

Turns out ever since the Spore DRM backlash, they decided to "scale back" on the DRM for Red Alert 3... On another unrelated note, EA dropped its bid to buy up Take Two...
-
Then Cho Aniki came in... no pun intended... >:L

If I wanted that I'd go watch Walker Texas Ranger reruns along side with dog the bounty hunter shows; and that gets boring real fast, unless I get the actual cut of the prize money. I mean in terms of events that affect more than say ten lives when it comes to Samus...
-
So... a super mario galaxy rendition of Metroid..? Sadly I'm having a difficult time what else the bounty hunter will go or do. Unless there's a new race of metroid like creatures out needing to be eradicated..? Or ya know... a remake of Metroid 2: Return of Samus from the GB done right without being in developement hell..?

I'm not heated I'm actually being very short and simple with my comments. You will need a good graphics card no matter what. Not even the best mobo in the world would EVER have good graphical capabilities. Spore, SC2, C&CRA3 and WoW:WotLK will demand you to have a good graphics card. In fact I suggest you take a look at the system requirements of all and any games you want for the PC. In each of their listings it will mention the need of a graphics card. The only games that wouldn't require heavy graphical capability would be an SNES emulator and anything else below that. Just trying to help you and educate ya.

Intergrated graphics tend to be absolute, fucking shit when it comes to heavy graphical games; or anything graphically intensive for that matter... If you try to play something such as... The F.E.A.R. collection or perhaps even Quake III Arena without a decent seperate graphics card, you will make your new pc cry in agony... Here http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16813131320 Buy it when you can IMO I wouldn't bother wasting cash on refurbished anything when it comes to pcs. Just build one from scratch.

If you thought that was funny, I'll consider pming you this manga series I've been reading. Not a "holy shit LOLZ" but a good lulz throughout the series. Also thank Yahtzee for the bit of inspiration on my earlier post.

In my Minidisc player (Yes I was one of THOSE that held off the ipod craze) and had cassettes for Zelda, Castlevania, Megaman ect playing while I cleaned house, went to class, simply making visits. Always would have a pair of earphones on and scoff at those that still kept to their cd players; which I still do as I wag my mp3player at them as they fumble with their puffy cd case and battery collection. When I listen to them however I would be reminded of the simpler times where I'm comfy and relaxing as I reach from one place to another.

It's actually more to do with the fact that after SMRPG was released for the VC, it decided to chose a game that not only is obscure (usually not a bad thing except for this time), but one that basically flogs a dildo at you with watery lotion ready to squirt at you. It's a rollercoaster ride where at a certain peak it took a dive and decided to cause its passengers to splash into a heavily neglected septic tank which as of now said passengers are still wallowing in it.
-
Clueless people will download it to fill in the gap from the more... "wiser: buyers avoiding it... Then again there are those, such as myself, who always seem to get a good laugh from "cult classics" like the Leprechaun movies.

What's sad is not only did I realized my sig has a smiley, but I won't be hearing any new remixes from GL.. Almost makes me think of the http://www.dionaea-house.com/ except without the complexities of the story there...

Funny you should say that, as Japan and Europe as of now have the game on disc, though no known US launch if ever. (bring Siren 2 NTSC god damn it! I shouldn't have to get a friend to import and mod his ps2!)
-
While I enjoyed playing the original Siren and Siren 2 (good ole buddy got an imported copy and already modded ps2 at his home ) I was rather disappointed on Siren: New Translation. For the most part it's easier than the original. I understand not wanting to scare away potential players from a good game due to difficulty, but CMON!!! I still enjoyed it and while graphically impressive, Just felt too easy for me... I'd still recommend it if you haven't played the original Siren game. For those that have, S:NT gives an altered story/perspective.

Siren: New Translation is a downloadable game on the PS3, not sure how much it costs though

To further elaborate on the problem The popularity of the Cho Aniki games has endured since the series' debut. Depending on which specific title one looks at, highlights include in-game music, innovative control schemes or sheer kitsch value. In Japan, these games are examples of baka-ge, a type of kuso-ge. "Baka-ge" literally means "idiot game" while "kuso-ge" literally means "shitty game" or "shit game". Baka-ge's appeal lies in its campness. Indisputably, the game's aesthetic sense — semi-nude men in suggestive homoerotic poses — is a unique one, certainly a quality that has given the series a cult popularity among Western gamers. Though the graphics are more risqué than pornographic, the series references homosexuality and gay sex more directly and more often than perhaps any other video game series in history. There... It's one thing if it was done for a particular reason, easily done in say rpgs... But in Cho Aniki series case, they just slap the dick at you while trying to drench you bukkake style...

I'll have to check it out, thanks~! Also whatever became of that gif where that girl perpetually ate what looked like a huge cookie..?

I'll give it a try when I get home from work but... and maybe it's just me, but it looks like it was done on MSPaint...
