Static charge or friction between the towels and the electronics in the system maybe? At any rate, I grabbed Gears of War last night and was able to experienced one of what I call the "Ultimate thrills of the 360": Online Co-op with my friends. Seriously, massive amounts of win. Speaking of friends, one of my buds has an interesting problem with the wireless controller that came with the system. Interestingly enough, the thing works just fine, save for the X, Y, and B buttons, which while trying yesterday, did not respond at all. Anyone have any similar findings and possibly some successes or failures on this subject?

Speaking of demos, I recently played the Demo for PGR3. I'm not usually a fan of racing games at all(save Mario Kart, which doesn't really count), but this game got me hooked, and now that PGR4 not only looks amazing, but has motorcycles(Suzuki Hayabusa and Katanas ftw), I think I'm definitely grabbing it. Also played some Amped 3. I like snowboarding games quite a bit, but I don't know if I'm willing to grab it JUST yet. Anyone have any thoughts on the game? Also, Eternal Sonata plays pretty great. I have my complaints, but they're forgivable for the most part.

You know, I've been looking at Ace Combat 6 over and over and have played the demo more than a million times, but I just don't feel that enthusiastic about it anymore. I mean from all the screens I've seen, the game looks amazing, but it just doesn't play like I had hoped. I just hope the demo is NOTHING compared to the actual game.

Anyway, sounds great and I'll be checking it out some time today. Whether I love it or hate it, it probably took quite a bit of drive and effort to put it out, so good job there. Well remember folks, if it doesn't have a large enough amount of humans and plenty of Dawson's Creekesque moments littered throughout the movie, with uninspired and hectic action sequences where the REAL leads do nothing but product placement, then it's worthless as far as financial gain goes according to Hollywood. Hey, hopefully it won't be as bad as Transformers. Also: Muppets.

Well shit, it seems that I've run into my first snag. Tried starting up my DOAX2 game earlier(still trying it as we speak) and after about a second after I press start at the title screen, the game locks up. I tried a few other games and there was nothing wrong with the system, which leads me to believe that there's something wrong with the actual game which I just bought 3 days ago. Anyone have this happen to them? Any suggestions? Addendum - Apparently I "sort of" fixed the problem by trying the game without the HDD connected. Reconnected it and so far, working fine. More testing and results soon. Further addendum - After re-inserting the HDD, the problem occured again, which led me to believe that I might have to reformat the thing, but after a bit more thinking, I realized that it might just be a corrupted save from the game, and so I proceeded to delete the game file, and to my avail, this process seemed to have worked. After several more tests, I confirmed that that was indeed the problem. Problem solved and lesson learned.

My god there are so many games I'm wanting for the 360. Eternal Sonata Halo 3 Ace Combat 6 The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion Game of The Year edition Beautiful Katamari Battlefield 2 Tomb Raider Legend/Anniversary Mass Effect Soul Caliber 4 Dead or Alive Xtreme 2 Resident Evil 5 Turok Call of Duty 4 Grand Theft Auto 4 Not to mention any games that might come out for the Arcade later on like Puzzle Fighter. Man I love this box

$40 for a measly 3 megs. Of course, our infrastructure is beyond fucked.

Well... It isn't the worst thing ever, but when I saw it, I was expecting some Sci-Fi space shooting goodness ala Origin, but alas, it was not so.

So people still think the FFVII remake is happening, huh?

I think I should start reading the manga. I will admit however that the series has taken a different "feel" than what it once had at the beginning. Of course, I don't mind, being that it's still made of awesome. Holy FUCK that was an awesome episode.

I think I have somewhere around 200+ songs on mine. It's a 1 gig Creative Zen Nano Plus, so it can't hold an uber-godly amount, but it gets the job done since I can just convert 'em to .wma. I think I have close to 6 gigs of music, and that's about it. I listen to each and every track though, and I can listen to the same song over and over without ever getting tired of it.

Five pieces come to mind right now. "The Yggdrasil" from Xenogears. "Clash on The Big Bridge" from Final Fantasy V. Whatever the castle theme that played in the second world in FFV. "The Oath" from Final Fantasy VIII. "Junon" from Final Fantasy VII.

Hay gais! I'm stroking my eP3nz0rs!!!111oneone Anyway, it's question time. Do any of you have any experience with Xbox 360 skins? I'm not just talking about just the faceplate, but skins for the entire system. Reason I ask is because I might grab one from this site, and I just wanna know if any of you have had any positive/negative experiences with 'em. I.E. Do they restrict any airflow? Is there any kind of adhesive/glue used and is it messy? What about actually getting it on the system? Another question I have is about custom themes for the dashboard, being that the ones up for "sale" on the marketplace are all made of fail and AIDS. Can I somehow download 'em from the net on my PC and import them to the 360, or is there a way to do it directly on the 360? Can it even be done at all? Well that's all for question time. Truth. I miss those old adventure games. Fun, engaging, and intelligent. Those are the three words I'd use to describe 'em all, and it's a damned shame that kids growing up nowadays aren't going to have that same kind of awesome. Granted, I've been out of the scene once Lucas Arts decided that shitty Star Wars games were the only way to appeal to the audience, so I don't know what's been coming out, but the only game I've played that's even remotely similar in style is Dreamfall: The Longest Journey II and from what I've heard, it pales in comparison to the original.

You're not getting the point. Why were there humans interacting to begin with? So there would be "realism". Look, these are robots from space. I think "realism" can take a backseat for once.
