  1. You bet your ass we are. But don't worry, we'll end up here sometime soon. A week's up, and thats all anyone has for General. But, I would like to say, big thumbs up on the project altogether. While I haven't listened to any of your WIPs yet, I can say I expect good things. Too bad it doesn't stop everyone, including myself, from asking where all the pokemon mixes are in ReQuests. The only things left to say are, you'd better pull off Gary's theme right, as we are now in direct competition, and if you see Cerrax, head him my way. Actually no one is doing Gary's theme, I took a look at it a while ago and decided not to. Pointlessly complicated. I'm considering another battle track atm so it's on the cards for myself, but we'll see. Also sorry if i seemed contemptuous (so a word) towards your project, I think it's awesome and we thank you very much for your support of the project. Also i was gonna say the same thing about Cerrax. Where is he?
  2. All hail The Damned. I've put a project sig request up in the sig shoppe with poinkos artwork to pimp the project. I shall shortly be doing an update on my Gym Battle mix, get the solos done and then call my mate up about a live drum track . I'm gonna e-mail jaroban and actually ask for what he wants me to play, cause I've been waiting for ages. I'm gonna pick a new battle theme to remix... in pretty much the same way, lol. More of the same. But different obviously. Maybe with a much more mellow approach in places. Suggestions welcome. Uh... what else. We should see if we can drag Taucer back into this. It's a shame he left in the first place, and as you say, it's not as if theres no plenty of time. But yeah, hail the damned.
  3. Hey, this is a slightly more unusual request. I'm here on behalf of the OCR Pokemon Remix Project and we're trying our best to actually get noticed, seeing as everyone seems to have forgotten about us, so the idea popped up to get everyone a pokemon project sig. Normally poinko, our resident artist would make one but hes gone missing and wont reply to anything, so I figured we could try here. It would be really helpful to all of us if someone could please use some or any of these pictures poinko drew and make us a sig, doesn't have to be flashy, just chuck in a pokeball and the blue and white pokemon colours somewhere. We would be very thankful. That last machamp is particularly awesome, but any of them would be great.
  4. This is pretty smooth, gels well. 1:35 onwards has some nice little melody adjustments, and the feel is different, can't say how though, just different. It's a bit short though, perhaps you should throw in a quieter solo sectin for a different section of the orchestra, atm is all brass and strings, maybe some woodwinds?
  5. Does anyone know if there are ever any UK tournies? I've never heard of any around here, which is a shame cause it sounds like good fun. Who d'you play as tauce?
  6. Good show as usual. Fusion covered nicely, however, he shall recieve no more praise until he continues work on his pokemon remix! *glares* But yeah, more of the good stuffs.
  7. Thats all very well and good, but i only know one person who uses falco and hes doesnt even know what a short hop is, and there are no melee tournaments in the uk to my knowledge so... I think i can survive with a roll. Seriously, I played the best people i know in 4v4s today at school. After a few rounds they all had 11KOs i was on something like 50. One round i actually got all 9 Kos and didnt die. It's annoying sometimes, I want some really amazing people to play because i dont feel like i'm getting any better. I have no need for all these advanced and combo breaking techniques, cause no one ever uses the combos. The only thing they annoy me with is spamming B+ups with link.
  8. Hey guys, I just wanted to ask a question about wave dashing. Realistically, is there a significant reason to learn to wavedash with fox? It's apparently harder to do with him then other characters, and his dash is probably much faster. I was discussing this with someone at school and I don't think its worth doing, and that it'll distract me from my regular tactics. I've watched a fair few matches from the pros on youtube and I rarely ever see anyone do it with fox, lots with falco, but hardly ever fox. Bearing in mind I dont use many "advanced" techniques I think i'll be doing myself more harm then good. I don't really play it enough to bother with them. Thoughts?
  9. He is teh awesome. His songs got me 90/90 for performance last year!
  10. This would be one of the few instances of a multiple necked guitar being used creatively using all the necks i've seen. I know it's probably been shown to hell and back on ocr but it still amazes me. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=p2EokjFIE5g
  11. This is really a fantastic arrangement. As a guitarist myself, I find it extremely refreshing to hear female guitarists as awesome as you. I can't even name one female guitarist at my school, because there isnt one, which is a shame because there are plenty of people who could turn out to be incredible guitarists but are put off because of its male dominated nature. Back to the remix though, seamless transition between themes and styles, great stuff.
  12. I don't remember saying antisheep was on the Gale mix? I suggested that you could have all three of us on your big finale mix at the end of the project. Also, you won't have heard anything from sixto cause his part in it is during the solo, which i havent got around to yet, all in due time. I do actually have an updated version that sounds much nicer btw, I just havent taken the time to tidy it up so it sounds smart enough to post yet. It's in bits basically, gimme a while to put them together.
  13. Chek out does stylin beat improvs nigga. Fo Reeel.
  14. Hot dang, thats why i couldn't do it, seems like such a simple solution i missed. Bah. Cheers for helpage.
  15. Question! How do you automate panning in 2.5? I've looked around and i can't find anyway of doing it. I'd like some swirl around the panning spectrum effects but i can't seem to do it. The closest thing i've found is "spread" which only affects from one side to the center. Any way that doesnt involve rewire? Cheers
  16. Bah, thought it was too good to be true. Thas just teasing us now.
  17. Now this is a very odd thing indeed. Is the FF7 project actually RELEASING something? I spotted something on the "To be posted" list in the judges forums that might intruige the project followers.
  18. It's true pendulum use the same loops a lot of the time, but they do lots of other interesting things in the background to make up for it (Plus, why waste a winning formula?). I like this though, can't wait to hear the finished version and the rest of the album.
  19. A most quick and informative reply. Cheers.
  20. You can download the episodes legally for free after they air. May I ask where? On that site you linked to perhaps, 'cause i don't see anything there.
  21. pro tools is fantastic, but you've gotta be REALLY skilled to handle it. its so amazingly powerful - you can do anything with it. its not like reason, where any moron can make something that sounds like music. Ahem, excuse me? lol, well it is easy to work with i'll give you that.
  22. umm...hook me up? please? lols, can i hook myself up first?
  23. I'm not familiar with a valvetronix, but i'm assuming its a digitil modelling amp, being a vox. Correct me if i'm wrong, those things have a noise gate? My spider 212 has one aswell and they just nullify all feedback. I can still get feedback with my ibanez but that has ridiculous output. If it is a noise gate, read the manual and see if you can turn it off. If there isnt a noise gate, just get a louder guitar. Also, 30watts isnt a lot of power, it might just be as simple as you need a bigger amp.
