To be honest, it was a combination of complete frustration with those mobile turrets that are invulnerable for most of the time, and Modern Warfare multiplayer jiving with me a lot more (especially with general attitudes on XBL).

Many reviewers also gave Halo 3 glowing reviews but I despised it - it made me stop caring about the franchise.

I seem to recall it being useful in a few games so you could set up your party's buffs and stuff before attacking, but I forget what games.

This is a pretty fun track - upbeat, and the synth has a happy sound to it that is enhanced with processed vocals. The track is crafted well around this fun idea, and it's hard not to smile when listening to this. Great job Anso and DA!

Originally I was going to have it be a bonus track, but it fits really nicely in a particular spot on the album, so for the sake of flow I'm putting it in the regular listing. Edit: After an IRC discussion, we're keeping this as a bonus track. Edit #2: And DarkeSword and DragonAvenger are joining on for the X3 Ending song!

So another song for the project is a take on Esperanto from Mega Man Zero 4 by melody! This song is just about ready! The status of songs listed is somewhat misleading, as many people have assured me that a lot of these songs are almost ready & I just haven't been given WIPs for them. Things are looking very promising for the project, and we will likely be almost finished with everything in October (there may be a few people late for some reasons - DarKsidE55 broke his finger for example, which affects his guitar playing, and I still would like to have his tracks on board for the album). The artwork and the website are also underway as well. All in all, we are looking at everything complete by December possibly. The album will be 4 discs, with a 5th disc as a bonus disc with some goodies. Those on the project curious about a tentative track order can head on over to the project forums. I am still in the process of tweaking the order for what would be best - it is going to take some time though, as I don't have a near complete set of tracks to make final decisions.

I'm up for it!

Playing this with my roommate - quite some changes it seems. It's going to take a while I think before I'm able to give a full impression of the game, but my initial thoughts are that there are some pretty positive changes. City states are still somewhat confusing to me though.

I don't know if I'd say OCR influenced my tastes in music so much as my appreciation changed with OCR reflecting it alongside, but my case is different - I explored music heavily back in undergrad, listening to anything I could get my hands on and vet for myself.

Lots of action happening now - got a final wav from our beloved prophetik and a badass WIP from TehOni. I'm expecting some more final wavs and WIPs this week! In addition, halc is cooking us up some Commander Yammark!

Just a note for counting of Mavericks (I'm sure Shariq knows this), but Duff McWhalen from X5 and Bubble Crab from X2 has nearly identical music.

Just about every music player supports them these days - just open the track up in a player, right click the track in a playlist, and click "Get Info" or something similar. It should display a bunch of info about a song.

I believe they're listed in the ID3v2 tags in the Comment section.

I've been paying more attention to college football this year - my school hasn't played too bad so far this year so that's a plus.
