Okami (Wii) - Pretty fun. I'd rather play a Zelda game than this rip-off any day. The Glaive is too hard to use! Grand Theft Auto 4 - Really good. This is the first GTA I've actually had in my possession. Niko rocks as a main character. Super Smash Bros. Brawl - Not really playing this now except with friends every other week. I'm not really interested in all the trophies and stickers, so I'll get around to unlocking them all eventually. Mario Kart Wii - Already got every character, so I'll probably cut down on this. Maybe online will keep me playing this. If not, this'll just be another friends-only game. I don't know what to think about The World Ends With You. I've heard great things about it, but 2 things are stopping me from getting too interested. 1) It doesn't have Mario in it. 2) It isn't made by Bioware. I hate every other kind of RPG. Is this game gonna change my mind?

Dang, I can't seem to get the timing down for Glaives. I might go back to using the Life Beads soon.

I kind of understand how Yahtzee felt in this one. I sometimes feel like playing a certain type of game that normally isn't appealing to me. That, plus the "pee spray" joke made this a pretty good review.

Yeah, I won't argue about its sprawling, charming, gorgeous aspects. Those really help to redeem Okami, in my case.

I just got past Okami's half way point (I just got the Glaive), yet I still can't see why this game is receiving so much praise. Its borrows shamelessly from multiple Zelda elements. Its horribly blurry. There's a lack of weapons types (only 3). Make no mistake. I'm enjoying this game a lot, and I like a few of the characters (Susano, Issun, to name a few). But a 10 out of 10? I just don't see it. I know I'm not the only one who's been annoyed by those 3 problems, and others I didn't mention.

It's perfectly fair to compare Xbox 360 with the PS3. They're both reaching for nearly identical audiences and offer similar console experiences. (But the Xbox 360 does nearly everything better, IMO.) Now the Wii is a different story. It really shouldn't be compared to either system, unless it's trying to do what they do (like if they're offering online play in a game, for instance).

Am I the only one expecting the events of Nights 2 to repeat themselves? 1) Large expectations from the die-hard fans 2) Game is released 3) Game fails to meet impossibly high expectations 4) Game bombs more than the first game did 5) Fans forsake 2nd game and go on dry-humping first game as they did before BTW, I haven't played either Nights nor BG&E, so this is just an outsiders point of view.

Your first criticism was how the video was snore inducing. Yet its getting glowing recommendations from this topic, and its getting featured all over the fricking place! That's why I saw it as uncalled for. I guess you find funny, witty, eye-grabbing video presentations boring. Go figure. Heck, I don't even really care either way, its just the internet...

You know who thought like you? The director. Do you know who met much criticism for overusing the comic book-style scene splits? The director. The fans and critics mostly agree that it just doesn't work.

Yeah, sure, he placed well. That goes along with the latter theory I mentioned. BUT, he didn't win. That goes along with the former theory. That's what I'm trying to say.

While I'm don't strictly adhere to the "tiers" theory, neither do I agree with the "every character is good if used by a good smash player" theory. If I had to pick one theory tho, the former at least seems more realistic and logical.

The comic book-like presentation in the movie was distracting and unnecessary. The only thing that saved that movie from total retardation was the "Puny human" and "Running in the desert" scenes.

I would really enjoy more presentations from you. Your obvious imitation of Yahtzee is not just forgivable, but made unique thanks to your voice modulation and alternation between seriousness and silly satire. A couple pictures that amused me were your "governator" and "It prints money". Good stuff my friend. As a joke, this wasn't funny. As a serious criticism, it was unfounded and uncalled for.
