not that EA getting sued bothers me at all, but man, this crap is getting old

most people's problem with the story is that it's essentially a monomyth, and while it's not really a cliche, star wars turned it into one and therefore people think the plot is weak because they've seen many of the conventions before. this bugs me greatly because I have yet to see a plot archetype more compelling visually than the hero's journey (monomyth), and Tron's plot is a very well done take on this concept.

i dont play xbax so i don't know exactly where the third disk is but i totally believe its awesome and yes mirror's edge was a fun time for most of the way but some levels totally owned me and made me rage out all over it

I guarantee you Vanillaware paid MUCH more attention to detail in their art than most game devs do with their 3d models.

picked this up along with mirror's edge and bayonetta and ended up spending most of my time playing bayonetta before going back to FFXIII in the hopes of actually finishing it. Still haven't really explored this game much, but its pretty fun from what i've played. also feels a lot like Valkyrie Profile 2: Silmeria to me.

Anyone else been following Katanagatari? Just saw its finale today and I must say it was an amazing run. Hour-long episodes work a lot better than half-our ones do in my opinion. Check it out if you like samurai, ninjas, wacky hijinks, lots of tragedy, nightmare fuel, and totally kickass fight scenes.
