Ok, I i'm listening with headphones speakers atm, so can't comment much on production, might edit later. Arrangement wise, I can see this appealing more to the masses than some of the OCR peeps, due to the repetitiveness of the track. Personally, the repetitiveness is a slight turnoff for me, but that said, I know there are going to be alot of people that really love what you've done here. Oh, and best remixer name ever. Revenge will be in its last round now, Me vs Txai asumming txai wins against neblix (I won by default as Cerrax didn't submit an entry for this round) OA didn't submit a track for one of the rounds and was disqualified as a result. As far as I know, the Runner up (gecko) doesn't get to do revenge because the highest place you can get is 3rd by winning revenge.

the votes have yet to be counted up officially, but Txai has effectively won this round which means that when darkesword announces the next round he will be going up against me.

There is a very strong likely hood that i'm going to put this theme in my Frontline Base Remix on the WIP board, since the chords are so similar.

you know, its weird... they said they were going back to their roots but it looks more like they are doing a "half way" point. Its as if they can't decide if they should do a genesis/megadrive thing, or another 3d game with better sound quality so they have decided to try and do both at once, but thats just like getting our hopes up and kicking us in the backside later Lets hope they don't fuck up the gameplay of this, but tbh, I've kinda lost my faith in this game, its not going to be a true return to the classic sonic games at the rate its going.

Marble garden for me has always been a bit weird because, I don't like the source tune that much, yet, from this source has come some of the best remixes i've ever heard... including this one. Really enjoyed this one dudes, great work, fantastic guitar playing, you guys got mad instrumental skills

Classic stuff from the king of chiptunes. Some really nice textures, good arrangement of the source thats faithful to the original and production is pretty solid as always. My only crit for this is before the main melody comes in, there are some piercing frequencies in one of the hihats thats assaulting my ears. This is however the smallest of cracks in a very solid remix - great work halc, willrock likey P.S. This is so very cute :3

Its called the ultimate megadrive soundfont, you should be able to find it if you google it. One thing to note about it tho is that it was clearly made with sonic music in mind - its no good if you want to make say - streets of rage style genesis stuff.

I'd agree about the dryness of what you have. What you have is good so far but everything sounds dry and this sounds slightly overcompressed as well... not sure if thats just me tho Regarding the rhythm guitars, record them again, and hard pan them the other way so you have two recordings of the same part both playing hard panned each side at the same time, that will sort out your stereo spacing problem with the guitar and add some much needed depth. Add some delay on that guitar solo as well I think this needs a little work but it has the potential to be awesome with some care. Keep at it man

Its become apparent to me that I might not be able to participate in the final round against zircon should I beat txai in the coming round, seeing as i'm going on holiday on the 2nd of april. I'm not forfeiting just yet because if everything is done on time, then I should be able to do something, or you could postpone the final round till I get back on 12th, altho thats unlikely right? Just thought that you guys should know whats happening with me, didn't think this compo would take as long as it has
