Does anyone know where I could find a decently priced used Nintendo DS (preferably Lite)? I can't find anything much under $90, which is ridiculous for a used system IMO. It doesn't even have to be in good shape as long as it works. Places I've checked: Gamestop: $89.99 Amazon: (Best) $83.99 including shipping. Ebay: Most auctions are running into the eighties, plus it's harder to trust the sources. I know the DS is popular, but damn.

I'm looking to buy a DS Lite, if the price is right. It doesn't have to be pretty, it just has to work. I've heard some people have upwards of THREE DS systems, so surely someone can part with one? PM me or post here if you're interested.

Hey, I was just looking over the tracklist and realized there's one missing. Did no one want to do the song when you have to race the black bird with Squawks? It's the only level on the flying krok (besides K. Rool). Or is it actually on there, just under a name I didn't recognize? I always thought that level had a pretty good vibe.

I just got a system too, and the person who got it for me bought Mario and Sonic at the Olympic Winter Games with it, and supremely unimpressed would be an understatement. BUT I just ordered Mario Galaxy and Metroid Prime Trilogy, and something tells me the holidays are about to get even jollier. (is that a word?) It's gonna be GOOD.

All this talk of Rare is making me envision a true sequel to Jet Force Gemini (which I have had a remix request on here for months now). WANT One of these days, I will be a social gamer who plays with friends, but my schedule is way too screwy for any kind of collab play. I usually play for chunks of half an hour or so throughout the day. The Conduit for $12? Very interesting... Even though the campaign never got more than a mediocre review.

Well damn. So it looks like if I want new copies of the first-party games I'll be paying around $50 no matter what. I refuse to ever buy used games again unless new copies are impossible to come by, or I know the seller personally. I had one too many bad experiences with used games. Thanks for the recommendations, I'll have to check some of these out...

So, I was given a Wii for my b-day. Apparently I'm hard to buy for, and they knew I was into video games, so they took their best guess. I was pleased to say the least , but the games they got me aren't really thrilling (Wii Sports and Mario and Sonic at the Olympic Winter Games; I'm not too much of a social gamer). I figured I'd give Zelda: Twilight Princess and Super Mario Galaxy and the Metroid Trilogy a try, and I was expecting they'd be quite cheap since they were released a long time ago. I was WRONG. They're all still pretty much the same price as they were at release! So, three questions for anyone who feels like being helpful: 1) Where's a good place to get some decent deals? I typically buy from Gamestop or Amazon... 2) Anyone recommend some good games I didn't mention above? 3) If there's a thread already dealing with this, can you point me to it? Muchas gracias.

Same thing happened to me. The first listen I really paid attention to everything and just thought, meh, it's pretty good. But I left it on repeat and started doing something else, and I caught my head bobbing along on the second playthrough. So I 'listened' closely again, and now I'm impressed with how the elements were merged; it's going on a CD as soon as I get a chance. Feels very...subfusc. Nice work R3FORGED!

Not what I was expecting...but in a good way. Apart from a few spots where certain textures got a little loud (i.e. 0:26), this has a lot of potential. Nice work!

AMEN. If everything people said came with their picture, real name, and address, all this hostility would turn to hospitality in a hurry. Most of the time, you're dealing with people who do all of their venting from their repressed social lives online, because they know they won't be held accountable for it. Even in places like LIVE, where "you're not supposed to use slurs or profane language," no one cares because 99% of people do it. I've even played with friends who I know are decent guys, and they would astound me at how they turned into punks when they played online.

'Bout damn time. I've been waiting for this since it was on the WIP board. Smooth as ice and oh so nice.
