  1. Eidos just released a very interesting short documentary (with a promotional twist) on modern cybernetic-prostheses. Check it out if you're curious about where real life augmentations stand today and where they might go in the future.
  2. Been catching up with your recent Project-R works. Great stuff as usual man, I enjoyed these a lot. Keep the awesome beats coming!
  3. I assure you, some people do read these dang ol' things. Some even respond. Speaking of which... You've Got a Secret Bonus Point! It took some time, but hopefully your request has now been answered.
  4. Dj Mokram in association with Nitro Game Injection, present: Dynamite Headdy ~ Secret Bonus Point Website: http://dhsbp.kngi.org Trailer: Vimeo / Secret Bonus Point is a tribute album to Dynamite Headdy, a sidescroller-platforming/shooting game developed by Treasure Co. Ltd. and published by SEGA for the Genesis/Mega Drive in 1994. Featuring 26 arrangements in a variety of styles by 14 artists, SBP pays homage to the soundtrack composed by Nazo² Unit (Katsuhiko Suzuki, Norio Hanzawa, Aki Hata, Koji Yamada and Yasuko). The album is divided into 4 chapters, reenacting the story of Headdy and his friends, fighting for their beliefs against the evil Dark Demon King, in order to save the Puppet Kingdom from its oppressive ruler. Secret Bonus Point was born as a response to this remix request. You can learn more about it and download the album for free at: http://dhsbp.kngi.org Have a seat, make yourselves comfortable and enjoy the show. # Act 1 - Once Upon a Toy # 01. 5. From what I understand, the person posting about the music needs to be an OC ReMixer. But seeing as I'm proly never gonna get posted, I'll take my chances. I don't want you to get into trouble because of this, so if there's any problem I'll take full responsibility. Thanks for the kind words sir, and I hope you'll enjoy this little album. ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ SBP release and discussion thread is HERE. 6. Nah, most posts in this thread are irrelevant now that SBP is out.I'm gonna ask mods if I can create a fresh topic for that in GenDisc. Just waiting for PAX to be over and for the staff to be back.
  7. You've Got a Secret Bonus Point! Website: http://dhsbp.kngi.org Trailer: Vimeo / Enjoy the show.
  8. As stated in the OP: bLiNd is super busy atm, but you should contact Emu or Stevo if you cannot get a hold of Jade. That's what friendly co-directors are here for.
  9. That cause gamers before 2000 all had integrated aim stabilizers, hud displays and cloaking system augmentations.
  10. Updated OP with release date. Rock on! Also, we need urgent help translating Treasure's doujinshi policy from japanese to english! If anyone can assist, post here or send me a PM. (no google-translation please). Thanks.
  11. Alex, I'm positive: you did not warn me about this. But I don't blame you for being enthusiastic man. It's okay. The problem is that you've misrepresented the video by not stating that it wasn't made for OCRMVC nor had anything to do with OCReMixes. I'd have liked to spare Amy from this kind of spamming, simply because there is already a thread for the project on this very site. So you should be apologizing to Amy and the other people who entered this compo instead. Hopefully, everything has been clarified now.
  12. I hope you're enjoying the game you crazy americans! We europeans have to wait 2 more days, and the anticipation is killing me...
  13. Amy, I dunno if Cherna decided to spam your compo with this, but he did it without my knowledge or consent. Feel free to remove the link. I would never have disrespected the hardwork of everyone here by shamelessly self-promoting my own project. Just wanted to clarify this. OCRMVC is a great compo, and I'd love to join it in the future.
  14. Dunno your specific taste in games Pieter, but if you're a normally constituted gamer, it's impossible to dislike Bastion.

Visuals are impressive, gameplay is solid and it's a lot of fun to play.

The narrative drive is excellent and like I said the soundtrack is fantastic.

It's just a really good game. So have fun with this one. ;)

  15. Rexy, the guy didn't say LD was better than tSoS, he just said that he personally didn't liked one album but enjoyed another more. See? So because an album got multiple mixposts and you're proud of being on it, people shouldn't be entitled to formulate their own opinion about it? (Not trying to antagonize here btw, just trying to understand your point of view)
  16. Little warning for Steam users: Bastion requires Xna 3.1 installed. Othewise it won't start at all (even if you have xna 4.0) There is no mention of this anywhere in the system requirements, so there has been some confusion here and there. Watched a buddy of mine playing it earlier, and it's a really fun and fantastic looking game. One of the best use of narrative element I've seen in a long time, and the soundtrack is awesome.
  17. Hurry and level up to 100 already! Have a good one Uncle Stevo.
  18. Ah, Tenchu. This brings me back... Pretty good interpretation of the source as usual, very jazzy and soothing. Nice work on percussions dynamics and overall atmosphere. My only grippe would be that the remix has a bit of muddiness to it. The low rumble from kicks and bass is a bit overwhelming at times. I totally get how you've preserved the ominous feeling of the slap-bass present in the source. But in this case, I'd advise rolling-off unnecessary lo-freq and boosting the mid-highs/highs freq for more clarity. Keep it up Ruku. You're getting better at your craft by the day. PS: You should really consider putting together a compilation album of your works.
  19. Stevo brings the ska! What else could people ask for? Intro is very close the original. It's not a bad thing, but I was expecting maybe something more suprising from you guys... Arrangement starts off with a lot of energy and never let go until the end. This song is a rocket-propelled-muffin-goodness-for-dem-ears! The timing of vocals in the first verse could be a tiny bit tighter (1:00 and 1:10 comes to mind), but aside from that, performance is great overall. Chorus sections are impecable, both vocal and instrumental-wise, and are highly enjoyable (the vocal break at 2:03 was fantastic). The Muffins once again bring the touch of brass-sexiness we all know and love, and as usual the guitar-brass blend offers some interesting contrasts. You've added a lot to an already delicious cake that I'm sure many are looking forward to enjoy in its final version. Also, Let it be known that the world can never have enough Overclocked Plaid Muffins. Therefore, we hereby demand a full OCPM album! And, ^ QFE.
  20. Where you by any chance beta-tester on the game? Also, .
  21. You have completed a great ReMux and prooved the justice of our culture. Conglaturations JT!
  22. A wild new teaser appears!
  23. Just wanted to say, this one sounds fantastic. The idea of designing an instrument with a door is genius.Overall these are some truly unique and ineed epic sounding libraries. What more they're offering very interesting sound-design possibilities at a great price. I hope you'll eventually create a dedicated package with all these, like PS Symphobia. This market hasn't been extensively covered yet, so it can be a successful venture with enough publicity. People interested in unique ambience geared and cinematic production tools should definitely check these out.
  24. Lol, apparently, Squeenix just got equipped with a sense of humor: This poster can apparently be found in a room of the game. Anyone else surprised that Squeenix could be making fun of their beloved franchise?
  25. My thoughts exactly. Well multitools are back, but there's no more lockpicks though. Speaking of which, a short doc on the sound design was just released.Featuring composer Michael McCann, sound driector Steve Szczepkowski and actor Elias Toufexis, who voices Adam Jensen in the game. Also, DXHR just received another stellar review/score. Quoted for emphasis.
