[April fools!] OverClocked ReMixanator Release!
Murmeli Walan replied to Kenogu Labz's topic in General Discussion
I'd like to express an error I found with the ASS. I wanted to listen to some Metal Terra totally maxed out, but when I got the remix, the pure vocal talent of Larry Oji was missing. I truly hope that the ASS will rectify this situation soon. EDIT: And the base track for Schala Metal has the guitar riff from Terra Metal in it! How much did you say you paid for this ASS, djp? I think you took it up the ASS with this endeavor. Wrong forum, try Help & Newbies. -

I take it you didn't hear IceCap Jazz female vocals, then. -

How lonely and pathetic do you have to be to pay a girl to play Battleship with you for just six minutes? Imagine walking into a bar with a Battleship set and asking the first girl you see to play it with you for 10 bucks. -

By my count, there's more than enough people on this track to make your own dodge ball team. -

3/22/10: It is WIP deadline time once again, we're looking good, and nearly everyone has checked in. No time to waste, most of these tracks are very close to completion, so we're shooting for a closer date to the next deadline: April 12th! I've also reworked the track listing to more accurately reflect the progress we've been making. 7 Tracks are totally finished, 4 are in WIP state, and 2 are being reworked from their earlier versions. I've also updated with the names of the other rappers currently on DCT's track, including his fellow Urbanizm Music colleagues Khakolak Boy and JustUs (who you may remember from the classic Sonic 3 ReMix), and also featuring the fantastic Navi aka Mythril Nazgul! Believe it not, Kyle and I still have a couple more surprises up our sleeves regarding the album! Stay tuned! -

DKC2: Serious Monkey Business Listening is finished!

In celebration of today's release (and because of recent comments about the game), I'm gonna cross DKC2 off of my list of games that I own but never got around to playing. -

Not much to add, but I just got a fantastic WIP today from Hoha. His track is playing with England in a million different ways while still staying true to the source. Just a few more days until the next WIP deadline, let's keep it going! -

http://vgmdb.net/album/533 It's an excellent album, I'm glad somebody remembered it. -
I remember this, he made a thread in Requests that went something like this: Ok, I'm exaggerating a little bit, but still, kudos in getting a second language down, I can hardly get the single language I know perfected, haha. Now back to our feature presentation, GrayLightning: Where The F**k Is He?

Now to sit back and see how they'll handle this for Wii and PS3 owners. There's some excellent stuff in the list of songs that are live right now that I really wanna play. Or they can just give us "Even Rats" by The Slip, and I'll be happy. However they wanna do it.

For everyone who's insulted by Easy Mode, beat it on normal to unlock Hard Mode. I BARELY made it to Sheep Man's room, let alone defeated him.

This is the end. You've started the fall. Can't see the destiny, that we once saw, on the edge of dawn. What have you done. Also, huge amounts of progress are pouring in since the trailer came out. Robots are being claimed and finished left and right, new maps are getting done (including MM1 Wily Stage 1-2, seen above as well as Air Man and Heat Man), and new items like E-Tanks and Items 1 and 2 are being added. At this rate, the game's gonna come out sooner rather than later.

Game remakes/demakes/additions/hacks
Murmeli Walan replied to The Pezman's topic in General Discussion
Mega Man 7 on the SNES takes a lot of flak from gamers and Mega Man fans because it took more cues from Mega Man X than it did the NES 1-6 (intro and middle stages, a 4-4 boss stage order, etc.). 2ch user Mend put together , which not only demakes 7 to NES graphics and music, but also makes a few notable changes to bring the game in line with 1-6. The intro and middle stages are gone entirely, all 8 bosses are selectable from the start, you can't save in the middle of Dr. Wily's castle, and the store and Rush Search have been removed (although you can still find all the major store items hidden in the levels). I think that the smaller sprites give you more breathing room during the game, making some of the boss fights easier (Slash Man and the final Wily are still tough, though).A different team of people from 2ch are currently working on the same style demake, but with the PS/Sat classic Mega Man 8. Judging from sprites and music samples on their Japanese wiki, they may also do Mega Man Powered Up, Mega Man and Bass, AND the Wily Tower from Mega Man: The Wily Wars. -
No one's mentioned anything yet, but I really like the new Challenge mode that Capcom added to MM10, having you play through short stages and clear bosses without getting hit. I've got the 8 bosses taken down, stopped after the first Wily stage. It took me a good while to figure out the order, but here's a tip: when you first reach a Robot Master or Wily boss, a challenge for them is added to the list. When you play that challenge, you have all weapons, allowing you to figure out patterns and best weapons at your leisure. The hype and excitement for MM10 just wasn't there like it was for MM9, but don't take that to mean it's a worse game. MM10 follows the 8-bit formula to a T, and if it ain't broke, then don't fix it.

Poor trolling attempt. You didn't even try to label all the music on this site as techno. 4/10. -
