Do you mean in terms of how well the music will be recieved? because if so, i think its just a crapshoot with alot of variables involved. BUT, in favor of it anyways, if you remix a soundtrack for something thats not done before, 1. thats super cool because its unexplored musical territory and 2. guaranteed, someday, somewhere, youll make at least ONE persons day because you remixed a song from a game they loved. DO IT.

what are your thoughts on the effectiveness of setting goals based around new years? my roommate is a total elitist about it in that he thinks you should " just do" whatever thing you want to get done whenever you think of it. while this works for a small number of people, the majority of us need to write down our goals in order to persue them. The most amusing part is that he himself never sets, nor attains goals.

I have so many resolutions that its just an overview of my goals for the year. i kindof enjoy using resolutions as an excuse to make goals for the whole year, so that i feel like im not wasting my time at a leisurely pace. some highlights though: 1. I won 4 prc rounds this year, exceeding my goal of 3, so i want to win 5 next year! 2. beat another posted remixer in direct competition. 3. Take violin lessons 4. Learn how to Use the mic that santa left in my room. 5. find 5 recipes to cook that are cheap/healthy 6. Start work on an EP i had an idea for. 7. Join a local photography guild so i can really spice up my photography. cool cosplay by the way Rexy, whos the character?

the magfest PRC round! i may or may not submit something half assed that week. itd be a fun challenge. as for the round, im excited to see all these entries! with two weeks to work, Im bringing my A-game, so i hope everyone else does!
