  1. I somehow missed the fact that Jeremy Soule did the Skyrim music. Kudos to the artist though. She managed to make it instantly recognizable for me as Jeremy Soule music. Even after knowing who the original composer is, my brain still said "well this is what Skyrim would sound like if Jeremy composed it" It was good. I like it a lot, even though I am discovering this track almost a year later :D
  2. Yes. I actually came to the site specifically to see if another &Knuckles album had been published. Kind of bummed there wasn't one like it, but this was really funny too.
  3. Way to go. You managed to take a quirky fun level and music set and turn it into a quirkier remix. Yay you. Grrr monotone sarcasm doesn't get conveyed in text. Honestly fun and enjoyable. I suspect this is going to be a very fast piece in Audiosurf with all the synth.
  4. This song is really cool. I love it lots, glad that the artist didn't get the memo about not bringing their A Game. Downloaded &Knuckles today because I missed the boat and didn't even know that it happened. I laughed sooo hard. Kudos to all the talented artists that purposefully brought their subpar game. That is not easy to do. lololol
  5. Found this one at work. Listened to it over and over and over. Then I went home and downloaded it, listened to it more, and Audiosurfed it. Been a long time since I liked a song so much.
  6. Beautiful. The second half of the song sounds like the level music from a really old brickbreaker game called Diamonds3D. So much in fact it made me stop the work I was doing. Downloading now...
  7. MORE PLEASE! This is a really enjoyable piece to listen to and I wouldn't mind more along the same lines.
  8. I am not musically inclined and cannot contribute to this project (though I wish I could). Anyway, this is a set of games that I have truly been looking for remixes for and I hope that the album progresses to completion. Is the release date still set for sometime in March of this year?
  9. I know this was part of the April Fools Day thing. Did any of the other remixes make it to the complete stage? The April Fools page doesn't have any working links. This song is sooo fun to listen to btw.
  10. I can't comment on the technical aspects of performance or levels or whatever, but I like where you are going with this.
  11. I like the new take on Sonic. It just sort of bounces along and tells the world to take its seriousness elsewhere.
  12. I like the new take on the song. I can't say anything about production, because I really have no clue about that. It sounds good from where I sit. My only issue at the moment is that the download file is 56mb because it is in wav format. Is it possible to get the mp3 version?
  13. I have to say regardless of the music, it is pretty impressive that it has generated this many replies and with so many of them being in depth. I have heard the term dubstep, but honestly I don't really know what it means. For me personally this song is going to be really fun to Audiosurf with the sound up higher than normal. I also have never heard the source music, so from a completely unknowledgable point of view I think this is fun to listen to at least once.
  14. I like this. I can't say anything for the technical aspect as I know nothing about it, but it sounds good to me. Hope it makes it to officialdom, but I am downloading even if it doesn't.
  15. Quite love the lyrics. Agreed with the judges, the background music needs to have some more variation, maybe a couple of instrument only transistions
  16. Thanks all. I have several songs over the eleven minute mark now to try. Hopefully I can manage to make it through one of them at some point.
  17. I am attempting to go for the Ninja Legend achievement in Audiosurf, and I am realizing rather quickly that I don't have any songs that meet the requirement. So are there any songs on this site that are over 11 minutes long?
  18. Has some very interesting elements. I am going to Audiosurf this one as is just to see how it goes. I think the middle section where it is mostly the source melody could use a running harmony in the background. Something that just goes all over the place but stays in harmory. No clue if that makes any sense. Just my two cents worth, and take with lots of salt as I am not a 'musician'
  19. I am preetty sure that song has already been remixed. In fact I think I even have two of them on my computer at this moment.
  20. TOTALLY SECOND I played this game so much. It took just a few seconds of listening to the music for me to get knocked into the far past.
  21. The Great Journey. It really does sound like epic roadtrip music that you hear in a lot of movies. Definately a win in my book.
  22. I don't even know what genre I would classify this as. Its fun to listen to. Slip it into your playlists as a good 'genre transition' song.
  23. Agreed with South Pacific Islander. This is a what?!!!!........ I was reading the introduction to this piece and was thinking "Uhm this is video game music. What in the world is DJP going on about?" So much for knowing my vgm. I feel dumb, but in the same moment I think it totally awesome to learn what this really is. Anyway, the 'Tetris' song is amazing to start with and Vurez takes it too a whole new level. I think I have all the remixes of this song that this site has put out. Thank you OCR staff for canonizing this song.
