ya. Miss that function so much right now.lol. The only potential problem that I can see right now with this change darkesword is that you should let ppl know that they have to re-subscribe/follow any thread that they have followed in the past. I can sense some posts of The recruit and collaborate forums might feel this effect later if no one says anything about it.

Looking for some quality headphones
Supercoolmike replied to Supercoolmike's topic in General Discussion
I remember putting on some beats for the first time and I immediately took them off my head. They are just so bad. lol When looking up the headphones you suggested timaeus, I came across these 2 interesting articles that came out last year and thought they would help fit in with this topic. and Spoilers: the Beyerdynamic DT-880 u mentioned is in both of them. http://www.wirerealm.com/guides/best-studio-headphones-for-mixing-mastering http://www.wirerealm.com/guides/top-10-best-studio-headphones -
Hey guys. I didn't see if there was already another thread on this topic so I thought it should be good time to start one since it can be really important to some people when purchasing new headphones. I was also hoping to see different opinions between known brands (like Bose & Beats) and unknown Brands (that can only be seen shopping online like amazon) Hopefully this can be a learning experience for everyone. With that being said I'm currently looking for new headphones to make music with. I know that making music with headphones is probably not the most optimal environment to be in as a solution, but with my current setup and compromised situation that I'm in (and possibly others that can be in as well). Headphones are pretty much the only options that I have to go for me. For awhile now I have been using the Bose QC 15 headphones and I really like the noise cancellation because I like the isolation I get to whatever I'm listening to. However those headphones finally gave out on me and I am currently being forced to listen to all my audio stuff with my ps3 gaming headset, so its pretty clear that I need to get some new headphones. lol. I know that having a budget can also affect ur choices of headphones when it comes to quality, but imo I think any headphones that cost more than $400 is too much even for a studio environment. I have been debating on whether to just purchase Bose QC 25 simply because I enjoyed the Bose QC 15. My other choice I'm thinking of purchasing is the Audio Technica ATH-M50 0r ATH-M70X. If u guys have different headphones or different opinions/sugestions for headphones, plz feel free to say them.

thx Gercr, I do feel like I have improved a lot and it just feels great (not trying to have an ego or anything. lol). besides its not really about whose leading and who is falling behind as long as the support is there. we all continuously grow in our own way. and since this is a topic of music, I'm sure everyone has had there moments where a song just clicks in there head and completes it within that same day while other songs just never see the light due to certain things not adding up together. So i say to just stay positive and always have confidence in urself , even if it sounds hella cheesy. lol

Another great game in the JRPG style would be Mario and Luigi: dream team, freakin love that game.

as unoriginal as my name may sound, I didn't pick it. It was forced upon me back in 2006. when the ps3 first came out you couldn't choose your username, the username went by your email address. So now I just stick with it cuz I've done so much with that username and a lil too lazy to start everything over to just have some other username to represent me. besides, its not like my username is lying or anything. I am cool (*ego inflating) lol.

soul veterans say the game is too easy cuz of stun locking ( trapping the enemy in a hurt animation, leaving them completely defenseless). While players that are new to the soul series love it. In the end I think that this was the better choice for the franchise. Sure veterans might have felt the game was too easy but this was on the new console, If bloodborne was as unforgiving as Dark Souls 2 then only a certain group of people would be playing it right now. they could increase the difficulty in bloodborne 2 (if its ever decided to be made) cuz there would now be a market for them that has a wider audience because new players got the taste of the souls series in the current gen, while soul vets would get the difficulty that they wanted. Its a win-win in the long run.

A Realm Reborn: Final Fantasy XIV Online
Supercoolmike replied to Malaki-LEGEND.sys's topic in General Discussion
never played this before, so I just recently got the demo to give it a shot. I'm really liking the game so far and I'm debating on buying it. I just have a few lingering questions about it that I hope can be answered. (I googled my questions and pretty much went nowhere with either outdated posts or vague answers) 1) Can u really just make one character in the entire game and have it be able to play as all the classes/jobs without losing any of the progress from the previous classes/jobs? 2) would having multiple characters in one world would be just as important as to a game like WOW? (like having separate characters collecting there jobs materials and loot or like my first question, one character is all u need even for collecting items/materials) 3) does this game have monthly subscription? cuz I could've sworn there were tons of articles from various gaming websites that said ff14 had become free from subscriptions. (It confuses me a lil further when I google the monthly subscriptions for ff14 and seeing ppl posts back from 2012-2013 stating there prices, but then don't see anything that resembles the monthly fee's when on the ff14 square-enix product website.) I just want to be a lil more prepared if I do end up buying the game. Thx for reading -
I'll go ahead and sign up as a novice. The Mario source I wish to remix is the X-Naut Fortress from Paper Mario: The Thousand Year Door

only really see that happening if the other contestants ask for a bump back (and relatively soon). Other then that you'll win by default and the next RWS will start (depending on what else MindWanderer is cooking up).

Are VST presets a cop-out?
Supercoolmike replied to YoshiBlade's topic in Music Composition & Production
this is a great question that I will be happy to share my 2 scents on the subject since I would catch myself asking the same thing to myself from time to time. To me, its only cheating (or a cop out) if you went ahead and grabbed a preset to then do nothing about it and leave it the way it is... Always find a way to change things up and experiment even if its just a little bit. Heck! even the type of presets that play entire notes/beats while 1 key is being pressed (that are usually avoided), are extremely fun to mess around with. True that u can't really call it ur own but if u experiment it hard enough where u can barely tell its the same preset, then ur doing the job right by experimenting and learning new ways to create music in the process, so give urself a lil pat on the back for being a miniature DJ for a moment there. Some may agree/disagree with me, but in the end. Whats a better way to learn then to experiment. Preset or not. -
Ninja Gaiden (2?) album [GATHERING INTEREST]
Supercoolmike replied to MindWanderer's topic in Recruit & Collaborate!
I'm down to join in on this. My 2 scents on these choices would that I would go with option 1.5 (omg,Rebel) If lots of ppl want to particpate, we can do a little thing where its NG2 VS NG3. that way, ur shooting 2 birds with one stone cuz In ur description, it sounds like you want ppl to pick NG2 or 3 more then NG1. so at least this way, those 2 games would receive more love and there will be some freedom to choose songs to remix since there will be more options. but that's just my opinion, cuz if I was forced to pick one of the options in all seriousness. I would say just "option 1." If u wanted to start off an album on a specific game then y not go balls deep and say its only from that soundtrack. -
Really like where I'm going with my remix. In this wip, there's a LOT of things I overlooked in this piece, but I was mainly going for bombastic emotions since this song is played when Ken Hayabusa loses his battle and dies. I'm Also not planing to have the song to be short (2 min atm). I kept those last few notes at the end as a teaser for more stuff to come. source: Remix: https://soundcloud.com/the-game-to-be-retitled/vow-of-revengewip

The song that made you want to remix
Supercoolmike replied to YoshiBlade's topic in General Discussion
I might have a cop out answer but I started to want to remix when I first found out that vgm remixes was even a thing back in 2009 (my mind was blown when that happened, lol). It took me soo long to realize this because I have been living in the ghetto my whole life where just listening to vgm on its own was considered taboo or usually met with,"you listen to that crap?" from the standards of both family and friends in school... but nowadays I tell ppl off that their the ones missing out on some great music, both ost's and remixes alike. I know I didn't answer the question but it did inspire me to be apart of the remixing community when I found that out, and this is where I'm at now. -
lol! I didn't know u guys love cyclops's theme so much. XD

true that They have a model, but they would still have to Rig the model. But in all honesty, since he has no limbs all the troubles of weighing down the skin would be ridiculously easy. So the only real trouble would be to get the"OK" from ubisoft for copyrights.
