I'm paused around episode 12 of Gurren Lagann, trying to find other stuff to watch too... I have Witchblade sitting on my external HD but for some reason I haven't watched past episode 3 or 4 or someshit. Heh.

It's funny that you should mention the similarity between the piano sounds. While I agree that the identical sound is probably less than ideal in most situations, the music that was covered in this submission lends itself strongly to having two pianos that sound alike in it for various reasons. It's just my opinion, of course, and yet I find it easy to share it because though there is so little distinction between the tones it feels, to me at least, to convey a subtly stronger idea than if they were differentiated. What strikes me about the piece is how they seem to attack each other, and yet they also complement each others' sound to the point where any distinction between the two is tossed out in favor of an overall synergy (buzzword, take a shot!) emphasizing the scheme presented by both the original work and this rendition, namely, that this is a kick-ass boss fightin' tune and you'd better have your beatin' shirt on.

I'm actually a little irritated with Natural Selection so far. Maybe I just need to join servers with more people on them so I'm not myself against two enemies, but the respawn time is also a little grumblesome. TFC made me impatient

You know, now that it's been a week since the event, I find myself craving more. I've managed to feed my habit with some Drammatica tracks, but it's. Not. Enough. Aw, damn it!

I got a couple of pictures, not many though and it seems I missed half or more of the people that were in costume. If I'd had more time to wander around, maybe I could've gotten some shots, but it was pretty packed at the end with people trying to leave and all that.

DJPretzel has the busiest schedule of anyone present on OCR, no contest. Anyway, the concert was effing awesome. Two standing ovations was a bit much but they worked to deserve it. I almost cried during "To Zanarkand" SHUT UP >.>;;;

I was just making sure that they had a box office there and not halfway across the city. I got my ticket for rear orchestra, or at least I hope...row BB looks to be towards the back. Anyone else in that area? If not, at least there's the pre- and post-show stuff going on, hopefully.

I don't have a car. Anyway I don't really expect to be doing any filming. Rear Orchestra may not be the best vantage point but in terms of is it a good place to sit...that is the part I worry about most. ADDITIONAL EDITING: There's a box office on-site, right? Good.

Hehehehe. Indecisiveness rocks. If I'm reading this map right, Rear Orchestra is the area marked AA-HH. It's actually cheaper than Terrace Center but I'm not going to be able to see as much, probably. Should I go for it anyway, or spend an extra $8 for a better view?

Where's everyone else at? I'm looking at getting Terrace Center.

We didn't actually settle on a time but as long as you don't come before 1 PM I'm good (It's saturday, I sleep an hour later than the rest of the week)
