  1. I dig the orchestral/chip blend. A nice full texture with lots of awesome syncopated bits. Great job adapting the source into such a groovy piece of work. CONGAAAAS~! I love 'em. YES
  2. Which is why the crocs are the goalies in Super Mario Strikers Charged.
  3. Didn't you play Kirby and the Amazing Mirror or Kirby Squeak Squad?
  4. They actually were experiencing technical difficulties during Miyamoto's demo. The bright lights on stage were messing with the sensors on the wiimotes and causing input hiccups. If you read any hands-on impressions at the game news website of your choice, people who have tried it out say that the controls are very responsive and aren't prone to those weird input issues we saw during the demo.
  5. It was described as a sword-action game, which means it probably won't feature a lot of tactical espionage.
  6. Well even if the 3D is bad (which, by all indications, it isn't), you can just turn it off with the slider. I'm more interested in the game library. Kid Icarus! Chocobo Racing! StarFox 64 3D!
  7. The game selection looks fantastic. CHOCOBO RACING!
  8. It's a fun track, but I think that if you're aiming for drum 'n bass, you need to vary your percussion more. The beat's pretty static throughout the piece, and this could really use something like a big-ass drum breakdown, maybe with some filter effects or something similar. It's a fairly repetitive, straightforward track, and while there's nothing wrong with that. Lead sound needs some more meat to it too, but it's not too bad. Nice energy though, just gotta do some more to not let it go. NO, resub
  9. http://e3.nintendo.com/wii/game/?g=zelda I'm very excited about this game. The graphics look awesome and all of the hands-on impressions I've read say that the controls are amazing. I read an interview stating that after what Nintendo did with full orchestra music in the Mario Galaxy games, they couldn't very well pass on doing the same for Zelda, so hopefully we'll finally get some real live orchestra in a Zelda game.
  10. http://e3.nintendo.com/wii/game/?g=kirby DAY ONE PURCHASE
  11. http://e3.nintendo.com/3ds I'm getting one.
  12. See, this is exactly what I asked you guys not to do. If you want to talk about the 3DS, please make a 3DS thread, and if you want to talk about DKCR, make a DKCR thread. Stop using this thread to discuss disparate topics. Having so many lines of conversation in one thread defeats the entire purpose of threaded discussion.
  13. Are you kidding me? You're actually complaining about a Kirby game looking cute?
  14. It's not an issue! Put the disc in your console and stay the hell away from it!
  15. He clearly tilts the console while the disc is spinning. Who the hell does that?! Don't do that! It's his own damn fault.
  16. Way too much money to be spending this holiday season. 3DS is also a day one buy.
  17. There is no such thing as 11/11. People don't write 11th notes. Saying something is written in 11/11 just means that you don't really understand time signatures. Any composer that does write something in "11/11" is just being a pretentious snot who feels like making his or her sheet music difficult to read. Also, time signatures aren't fractions.
  18. This is a Mircosoft thread. Stay on topic.
  19. I assume you mean Mac players talking crap about Windows and the like.
  20. Email admin at ocremix dot org. Keep in mind that the Announcements forum is usually just for stuff that is related to OCR, not general video game music stuff. ROFLcon is there because we're going to have a presence there. You're welcome to post about your event in the Community section.
  21. Are you guys seriously ragging on Cirque du Soleil? Is DarkeSword gonna hafta ban a bitch?
  22. Just a quick note: people who start talking shit about Macs and Mac players in-game will earn a swift mute and/or kick. That is all.
