  1. Already a SC2 thread. http://ocremix.org/forums/group.php?groupid=8 I made you guys a group to use.
  2. No because Bruce is "dead" in Blackest Night. Barry comes back after Final Crisis and that is when Bruce "dies." There's no crossover where they can meet. Granted, DCO won't be following main DCU continuity, but it was being developed a while ago, so it's going to reflect the state of the DCU from a few years ago, not the current one, hence Cass Cain as Batgirl.
  3. It's a story trailer, not a gameplay trailer. It's there to set up the premise and narrative, not give you a demo of the game. Flash is most likely Barry, not Wally. Although Batman is Bruce and DCO is going to have Dick as Nightwing, Tim as Robin, and Cass as Batgirl, so Wally still could be the Flash. Then again DCO takes place in a different line. Who knows?
  4. caaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaake
  5. Compilation DVDs given away have all of the songs on them. They're data discs with the entire catalog-to-date on them. We don't give out 70-minute audio CDs with just a couple of tracks on them. "Top Downloaded" is not indicative of quality. It's indicative of listener predisposition, which is exactly what we're trying to go against. What at the top downloaded remixes? I dunno, but they're probably from Final Fantasy VII or something. You'll never see "top downloaded" or "highest rated" or anything like that on this site; you'll never see something that does a tally of statistics and sorts the individual remixes that way. I guess people didn't read what I wrote before, so I'll say it again, more emphatically. The rule about favorites threads on the forums have little to do with what the FAQ says about rating remixes, and it has little to do with any perceived "hurt feelings" or "favoritism" that people like to bring up. Favorites threads are not allowed because they don't promote discussion, they promote lists, and the forums are for discussion. Favorites threads almost always degenerate into people just listing their own favorites and moving on. This is why it's not just "favorite remix" threads that we discourage, but "favorite remixer" or "favorite video game" or "favorite hamster" or anything else. Furthermore, if you want to express your opinion about your favorite remix, you already know that every remix on this site has its very own review thread where you can discuss it to your heart's content. You also have a forum signature where you can mention your favorite remix or remixer; there are no rules against that, except that you should keep it under 250px in height. Also, you'll be able to post your favorites on your OCR blog if you'd like, because blogs are a more individual-oriented thing.

  7. There's no need for that kind of vitriol.
  8. The Commander Shepard one made me laugh really hard.
  9. Seriously. A note to the internet: if you're trying to make a clever graphic, make sure you spell everything right, otherwise you just look like a dumbass.
  10. You didn't do anything wrong.
  11. I don't know, it must be something with your connection and ETG's servers.

  12. That's not sarcasm, it's false ignorance.
  13. "itt" is not a misspelling of the word "it," it's an abbreviation for "in this thread." itt we talk about ocremixes and youtube itt we discuss ratings and favorites itt darkesword possibly missed the joke It's a common abbreviation used on a lot of message boards all over the net.
  14. No, most spam accounts are created by part-timers who are basically paid to sign up for websites all day and fill out account info. That's how they get past captchas and stuff. The main goal is to just get a link with keywords into a forum signature, because forum profiles are indexed by search engines, and that increases the SEO for their advertised websites.
  15. No, it wouldn't. We're allowed to have our own favorites. My favorite remixer is ziwtra. I'm not promoting favoritism or elitism when I say that. I don't really understand how that promotes either, to be honest. The reason we don't allow favorites threads on the forums has less to do with the site's stance on ratings and more to do with the fact that people just post lists when they should be discussing things. Favorites threads (regardless the topic) always degenerate into lists. As for blogs, people will be allowed to post their own lists if they'd like. We're not going to discourage that, because blogs aren't discussion threads, they're just thoughts that people want to share. The point about ratings in the site's mission is the reason we don't have a publicized tracking mechanism for things like ratings and popularity. Those kinds of things are always susceptible to the kind of preferences Larry mentioned. But personal favorites lists don't get tallied and they don't get tracked and consolidated. It's just one person's opinion. If someone wants to express that (staff member or not), they'll be free to do so once the blogs roll out.
  16. Draconiator done.
  17. I did. I was in that game. He set us all on fire.
  18. Pretty good, though I got killed by a teammate today and was promptly chided for getting in his way. It's always a good idea to announce when you're going to use a mining laser.
  19. Dribble down, not dripple.
  20. Your sig is too tall, please resize it in accordance with the 250px height limit.

  21. Don't bother reporting them if they haven't made any posts.
  22. They're called the "Killing Gloves of Boxing," not the "Killing Boxing Gloves." The distinction is important because the abbreviation is supposed to be K.G.B.
  23. http://ocremix.org/forums/tags.php?tag=rock http://ocremix.org/forums/tags.php?tag=metal These are the lists of the review threads for songs in the styles you requested. You can get to the songs by clicking the link at the top of the first page of posts for each thread. Down the road, tags will be better integrated into the site proper so that you won't have to go through review threads to get to them.
