  1. Threads about video games belong in Community, not Off-Topic.
  2. You should only be using this thread for recruitment. Any other discussion should be carried out at your own private forums.
  3. Can you change your sig? It's 700KB; way too big.

  4. I have a Palm Pre Plus from Verizon. GBA "works" but the speed is crap. I don't know of any SNES emulators. There's an NES emulator but the guy charges for it. GB and GBC emulation is perfect. Homebrew stuff is easy to get; Palm is very homebrew friendly.
  5. It's the "curse of threes." Just wait for the next one. RIP, Mr. Hopper.
  6. Gary Coleman was not a midget.
  7. The big band stuff mixed with the synth stuff sounds really sloppy. The arrangement is great but the execution needs to be super tight to convey the intensity of the arrangement. Drums sound really weird at that part with the synth lead. Piano is also very bright and heavy sounding; I think something darker and softer would work for an arrangement like this. Just a thought. Just needs to be tightened up a little. NO, resub
  8. Wow. Totally drenched in reverb. Really gotta tone it down there. You're relying far too much on the reverb to fill up your soundscape; take it all out and there's very little actually going on. I'd like to hear a fuller arrangement; a lot of what I hear is melodic lines run through preset choppers and arpeggiatiors with a healthy dose of delay effects. The deep-dark-water-effects are a little hokey too, because they're so exposed. Don't rely on those. Not a bad sound, but needs a lot of work. NO
  9. Nice blend of electronic and acoustic. Great arrangement. I love those pulsey synth strings. I agree there's a bias towards the left in the overall panning here. I'd center a little more or move some things around. There's some muddiness when more instruments are playing, but I think that could be remedied by doing some smart reverb adjustments. I'm just gonna say NO so we can get this out the door and back to you for some slight revisions. Please resubmit.
  10. Everybody's got a special kind of story, everybody's got a time to shine. Don't matter what ya got; not a lot? So what! They'll have their's, you'll have yours, and I'll have mine, and together we'll be fine. RIP Gary. <3
  11. This is essentially a "Hi, I'm new post!" so I've merged it into the appropriate thread. If you'd like please go ahead and make a general thread about the game Priston Tale, but please refrain from only recruiting for your own clan. Welcome to OCR forums. Please leave reviews for remixes.
  12. Buy this. You will not regret it. http://www.amazon.com/Music-Pat-Metheny-Lyle-Mays/dp/B0000018LY
  13. caaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaake
  14. I'm against it. We want people to come to the site to get remixes. Then they're more inclined to leave a review, participate in the site, and check out other remixes, projects, competitions, etc.
  15. Final Revenge mixes due next Saturday.
  16. Alright sorry, finally getting around to this. Willrock wins with 17 votes.
  17. Real name field is for real name only, not nicknames or abbreviations.

  18. http://audiotool.com/ An online flash-based sequencer/audio workstation. Surprisingly has a lot of features. Not something I'd ever use for actual production, but it's great for jotting down ideas when I'm not at home (because I don't have FLStudio with me wherever I go). Give it a spin.
  19. I want games where I don't have to worry about any kind of timing. I want to be able to put my phone down if I need to and not worry about dying or losing or whatever. My phone's buttons are tiny, so I don't want to have fumble with them just to play the game properly.
  20. Guys, I asked for games that don't require reflexes. Games like Dr. Mario and Game & Watch are no good. Thanks for the suggestions.
  21. Please recommend Gameboy and Gameboy Color games that don't require any actual reflexes or timing in their controls (i.e. turn-based RPGs are good but platformers and action RPGs are out). I'm putting games on my phone and I don't want to have to deal with involved control schemes with my tiny, tiny buttons. So far I have: God Medicine Final Fantasy Legend Final Fantasy Legend II Final Fantasy Legend III Pokemon Crystal Dragon Warrior I & II Dragon Warrior III Metal Walker Thank you.
  22. I also like to put on my own music while I'm playing.
  23. You sig is too tall. Please resize your sig in accordance with the 250px height limit.

  24. Has become? It has always been like that.
