  1. It's in the works.
  2. Someone moved a whole bunch of pins around. All the MD folks are in PA now for some reason.
  3. I think the best part about the new difficulty system is that it's actually a difficulty system that you set, rather than something you have to play through. It's so nice being able to set a difficulty and just play with a challenge; it feels more like it's about knowing how to play and how to use your skills, rather than having better gear.
  4. Leveling on Master is a dream. Got my Monk up to 44 already this weekend.
  5. I don't think anyone thinks that ripping music from a game gives you the rights to that music.
  6. Yeah should be doing one tonight.
  7. What you should in terms of recruitment is focus on getting really good vocalists. These people don't necessarily have to even be good arrangers or producers; just put the call out for good vocalists with good recording equipment. OCR has its fair share, but probably not enough of them. There are a lot of talented amateurs all over the place; YouTube/SoundCloud/etc. I can help you with outreach if you need, via social media accounts, etc. Just put together your requirements first. Once you find some, you can then pair them up with talented arrangers here at OCR and we can proceed from there, i.e. source selection, lyrics, etc. A fully vocal album is going to be heavily scrutinized; far more so than other traditional albums. We can't settle for vocal performances that are just decent or good enough; we have to shoot for nothing less than perfect. This means we have to turn a critical ear towards all of the material we get, and really focus on things like breath-control and pitch-control and a whole load of other stuff that actual vocalists (i.e. not me) can tell you about.
  8. I made an OverClocked ReMix community, if anyone wants to join. Just search for OverClocked ReMix.
  9. A fairly large patch dropped yesterday, with the new Loot 2.0 system. Now I'm not a hardcore player by any means, but I enjoyed D3 when I played it, so I decided to check the game out again last night. I noticed a lot of improvements to the loot I was getting (a lot of drops had relevant stats for my class) and the crafting seemed improved too. The interface of the game feels a bit more polished as well. They've also added clans and communities. Might be nice to start up an OverClocked ReMix community.
  10. I played the PS4 beta of this game this weekend. Pretty fun, actually. Playing this game with a controller was surprisingly easy. I might pick this up for PC though. As nice as it is on PS4, communication is an issue with the controller.
  11. Well, we don't judge sources, we judge remixes. If the sources are basically the same, they're basically the same. We'll compare the remix to the source that the artist indicates. If a remix sounds super-liberal or is doing stuff that isn't present in the source they provide for us, we might do some further investigation and check other tracks in the game to see if that material is used.
  12. It's pretty neat. DarkeSword, on Origin.
  13. Hey everyone. I get notifications when there are group messages that are moderated, so there's no more need to PM me when your votes are unapproved. I (or another mod) will take care of it.
  14. OCR panel approved too. I'm going.
  15. No show tonight. Enjoy Valentine's Day with your significant others.
  16. Save it as a PNG, not a JPEG with compression. It's filled with compression artifacts.
  17. I'll close this thread for you. It looks like you signed up for these forums just this week. Generally speaking you probably want to get more familiar with the forums and the community before trying to run a compo or an album. If you're really interested in competitions on OC ReMix, it might be a better idea to take part in a couple of ongoing competitions first, just so you get a feel for this place and how everyone interacts. Check out the People's ReMix Competition (PRC) or Meat 'n Potatoes (MnP). Those are regularly running competitions that don't have things like sign-up periods or long, multi-week commitments. You can basically just compete week-to-week if you want. Good luck and welcome to OC ReMix.
  18. caaaaaaaaaaaaake
  19. 4HOL is worth playing for the music alone.
  20. Try to actually take part in the discussion happening rather than trying to "end" it with a patently inaccurate over-simplification of the issue at hand.
