  1. Let's postpone. After Christmas?
  2. Also I would have loved to have been able to express my desire for a Warzard/Red Earth digital re-release.
  3. Yeah I took this earlier. Would love to see some Battle Network compilations or something.
  4. Done and done.
  5. Monkey's brains, though popular in Cantonese cuisine, are not often to be found in Washington D.C.!
  6. Your sig is too tall. The combined height of stacked images in your sig should not exceed 250px. Please rearrange or resize your sig graphics accordingly.

  7. If you're like me and use a 360 controller to play PC games, check out Joy2Key. This is a program I use for playing games that don't have gamepad support or games that have limited gamepad support. I had a hard time playing SFxMM with the 360's left-stick (analog sticks aren't so great when playing a precision platformer like Mega Man) and the game doesn't support mapping the directions to the d-pad (pov switches), so Joy2Key was really useful in that regard. It basically maps keyboard keys to your controller, so you set the game to just use the keyboard as your input and map the in-game keyboard controls accordingly. Joy2Key is also useful for flash games that can't feature controller support, like Rokko-chan. Oh also I forgot to add, I played a little bit of SFxMM last night and it's really good! Chun-li's Stage is really hard though. xD
  8. Apex 2013 January 11-13 New Brunswick, NJ - Rutgers Student Center http://apex-series.com/ OC ReMix is proud to announce that we'll be at Apex 2013, a weekend long fighting game tournament event right here in my own backyard at Rutgers University, debuting Apex 2013: Straight to the Top, the official Apex 2013 album by some very talented OC ReMixers (including yours truly!). It's the largest Smash Bros. tournament in North America, and will also feature other games, including (but not limited to) The King of Fighters XIII and Super Street Fighter IV. We'll be there selling shirts and merch, and the first 50 registrants will get a limited edition physical copy of Apex 2013: Straight to the Top! There will also be chances to win the album during the tournament, so bring your stick and your A-game! In addition, music from the album will be featured on the weekend-long livestreams for the tournament, so if you can't make it out to the event, be sure to tune in and follow the coverage! Hope to see you folks there!
  9. Alright let's get this final battle started. Mixes due in a week. Good luck guys.
  10. Let's get back on track and start talking about the DKC3 album folks, not one person's opinion of it.
  11. Fixed the title. Please put a little more effort into threads about new games.
  12. No. Community is not the place for that. Use the Works forum. You are only allowed to post a thread for a completed album of music (original or arrange), and only if you're a posted or TBP remixer. No progress threads.
  13. I like NSMBU as a game but the soundtrack is kind of lacking, especially the rehashed castle/tower/ghost house/underground/water themes. Come to think of it, the only new music is probably the overworld theme and the map theme. NSMBU is great but it could have been even better if they'd applied the same production values as say, Galaxy 2, especially in the area of soundtrack.
  14. It's a conservative arrangement to be sure, but I think there's a lot of personalization in the performance and we get some really great improv bits in the second-half. Great sound, excellent groove. I like it. YES
  15. Really relaxing. Percussion kind of lacks 'oomph' but I don't think it's too bad. Love the organic feel. Really captures the appeal of the original. Quite nice. YES
  16. OCR competitions will never escape from Mega Man. Mega Man is the best.
  17. Yes sir, that's the idea.
  18. I wanna thank everyone for getting their remixes to me today. OA is still working on his but I talked to him earlier and it's basically almost all done. The music you guys pumped out for this album is really excellent. If any of the contributing artists wants to listen to the other tracks, drop me a line and I'll hook you up. I hope everyone else on OCR will enjoy it as much as I'm enjoying it right now when we release it in January. Apex 2013 is going to be an awesome event, and our official soundtrack is going to make it even more awesome.
  19. I like Miiverse, especially how it's integrated into NSMBU. I have been leaving TIPS and TRICKS. Keep an eye out.
  20. Merged both computer deal threads. Only need one.
  21. I recently watched an anime for the first time in a few years. As most of you know, I'm a big fan of superheroes (American comics and Japanese tokusatsu shows). This past NYCC while hunting around for Kamen Rider figures, noticed a crap-ton of Tiger & Bunny figures by S.H. Figuarts (the company that makes really great Kamen Rider and Super Sentai figures). I liked the designs so I decided a few days ago to check out the anime. If you haven't seen it before it's pretty wild; it deals with the commercialization of superheroes, through corporate sponsorships (company logos on suits), endorsements, and reality-TV marketing. The main guy is Wild Tiger, a been-around-the-block hero who's disillusioned with the commercialization of heroics and cares more about saving people than doing his "job," and him getting saddled with the up-and-coming Barnaby Brooks Jr., a Bruce Wayne analogue who's using the super-heroics industry to find his parents' killer. The action and animation is excellent and the characters are all really wonderful; all the heroes get some time in the limelight. If you like superheroes and fun action anime, check it out.
