Ah, I really wanted to contribute to this, but it seems too soon for me, was hoping for something after august, as I've got my plate full atm.

Well, I think I will be finishing my project before the compo starts, so I will be joining. Like I said ,Joel won't be joining me in our usual shenanigans, and most people I would ask to team up with are already in teams, so I'll extend an invitation to anyone not in a team. Let's be the maverick underdogs. If you use reason or bitwig, it will make it easier in the case a collab is needed. Just reply if you're interested . Although Nintendo was pretty much my childhood up until the n64, we got divorced afterwards. That doesn't take away how great of a person Iwata was and how much respect I had for the man. Very few people put fun ahead of everything in this industry, and although he also wore a suit all the time, he was the less suit-type of guy in the whole industry. Nothing but respect for him. If Larry is organizing some kind of album, please hit me up.

I don't think I will be joining this one, sadly. I've got an album to release soon, and most of all, I doubt I can convince Jive to join me in our usual shenanigans this time. Pretty awesome roster though, I was afraid as interest was a bit slow at the start but seems like there will be plenty of music for this one.

Well I always assume no real musicians would want to team up with me, but that's good to know I will keep that in mind for future plans (which may or may not be coming up right after this )

Hello OCR Community, I am very very excited to bring to you my upcoming first album, Silius : 0373. This is a remix album of Sunsoft's hidden gem, Journey to Silius, which has a special place in my memory, and which had some of the best music in any Sunsoft game, and that's saying a lot! This album is mostly a solo effort, but it also features collaborations with Jivemaster and Showroom_Dummy. I am planning on releasing the album in a couple of months, so I thought I should share with you the amazing trailer (with great custom artwork) by The Coop. Bringing this to you is a very special event for me, as it feels like OCR has brought me to this point. WIthout OCR, this wouldn't be possible. Oh man, I laughed. Does that bring back some memories I do feel concerned about GL. Disappearing in such a way is really hard to do nowadays.

Happy Birthday PRC! Funny how a great percentage of my OCRemixes are from PRC. This compo keeps me mixing when I'm in a slump and helped me find some awesome under appreciated songs. I don't know if I'll be able to do this one, but just wanted to chime in. I hope PRC continues to #500 and beyond.

Finally all my remixes can be unified under an extremely generalized tag!

Are previous PRC WIPs allowed? I have a friend who wants me to finish my Illusion City (MSX) WIP, this would be a good oportunity. I'm gonna finish it regardless, but if I can contribute it to PRC's library then even better.

Not confirming my entry or anything, just wondering, this being a compo for kickstarted games... why no shovel knight? The soundtracks already in are pretty cool though.

Weird, I prefer to start with the bass because its most likely static and most of the time represents the root of the chord, hence can lead to identifying the scale. But hey whatever works!

I only have 2 contributions to the vgmusic midi list (little samson), and they were fairly hard to do for me. I have zero formal music training so my ability to identify notes by ear is quite lacking. I used a mix of listening by ear, playing along on my keyboard, and as you said, slowing down the original source.

Oops I missed the voting, but I will be listening to all the tracks today after work.

I had something really really cool going, but the New Civ launched this weekend and that took up all of my free time. I'm probably going to finish it and submit it still, so you can look forwards to that I guess XD

I'm just glad the last round was a tie. Given the interest in my source, I would certainly have killed PRC again XD. I might mix Illusion this weekend, if I get the time. It's a good source.
