Mega Man: The Wily Castle Remix Gauntlet 2013
Lemonectric replied to DarkeSword's topic in Competitions
This. My first pick is always a robot master that hasn't been listed as someone else's first pick yet. I recommend that everyone use the search thread function to see if they're conflicting with anyone else's list. If someone listed it before you did, consider switching things up. That means you, Slash Men 2 and 3. -
Reminded me of this old thing

Missing the beetle. The things I would do for an axe... In the meantime I guess I'll just have to focus on seducing this monkey. The dude blushes every time he talks to me. He said I looked good in a leopard print skirt. Oh yes, my charms are already working

We have a three-way battle for Slash Man. Put up yo dukes -
First-time Animal Crosser. Bought it on a whim. It has sucked me in. Help I'm Ben of Pulpton. Our town fruit is a secret.

Yess. I'm joining Phonetic Hero and Theory of N for a change of pace. I hope to see a lot of new teams. My picks: 1. Slash Man (MM7) 2. Crystal Man (MM5) 3. Wave Man (MM5) 4. Jewel Man (MM9) 5. Fire Man (MM1) I considered Star Man...but I think I want to save that one for a GRMRB. Strategy and all that. -
The stream was pretty bad for me, but when it stopped to buffer and I saw the first glimpse of an upside-down road in the background, my eyes lit up. Definitely looking forward to that. Looks like it's back to 12 racers at once, though. I don't think that worked particularly well in Mario Kart Wii...but we'll see.

Download it, play it at your wedding, hang it on the living room wall, whatever you like. -

Exactly. You don't need to know everything right away. I made a few 7-second-long remixes with FL before I found the piano roll. If you're stuck not knowing what to write, don't be afraid to write simple dumb shit. You won't be getting any music awards, but it'll help you figure out the basics, at the very least. (I like to pull out the earliest example of my music on record at times like this.) -

Nice preview! Actually sounds pretty cohesive. (That's an old version of my track, too.) -
A made-up word or combination of words that people don't generally use together. Before I called myself Hylian Lemon, I was zeldafan364 and Hylian Hero. I might as well have been wallpaper. I've occasionally considered going by my real name, but it's just not unique/memorable enough. I'd be lost in the depths of google forever.

You all had better post your WIPs in the private board so I can listen the hell out of them. -

I expect to see visuals of comparable quality in the trailer. My body is ready. -

Crapstep: like dubstep, but with less bass dropping and more ass droppings. On a more relevant note, I am excite. A brilliant composer and a great remixer lineup. I'm taking on the regular battle theme because for me, it basically is Mario RPG. I've hummed along to that thing way too often not to remix it. -
Mega Man X: The Grand Maverick Remix Battle 2012
Lemonectric replied to DarkeSword's topic in Competitions
Hah. So I know Darke said not to spoil the twist, but I'm too excited about it. He's actually switching places with the competitors this year, so we'll all be running the competition and keeping score while Darke produces 16 remixes per week. Get hype. -
Zelda album: Lime of the Season - History
Lemonectric replied to Lemonectric's topic in Recruit & Collaborate!
Relax, you two. Nobody's committed any crimes here. The few old WIPs that had been on tindeck are gone now, anyway. Mirby posted the "before summer" news in the private staff board. We'll see what we can do about releasing around then, but no promises. I'm not holding anyone to the final deadline coming up this weekend; I've been busier than I expected lately. I really should be working on my senior thesis as I type this. -

What a good album. I'm glad I got to be a part of it. I'm also glad I joined it fairly late. -

Actual quotes from inside Hylian Lemon's brain: "holy jizz that's a smooth edit of my track...but why?" "oh wait that's actually how it goes" -
These days I think most of the LPs I watch are of games I've already played. Sometimes you learn something new, sometimes you just get entertained by failures or commentary. It's also good when multiple people are playing and/or commentating at the same time. Of course you have to be picky about LPers. If the first few seconds of commentary are iffy, get out of there. It's not going to get better.
