I've had to redo Great Bay Temple on three occasions after the game froze on the Gyorg intro. Would be nice to have a version that doesn't make me cringe in fear every time I get there.

First DLC pack comes out November 13. It's been a while. I'd like to do a post-DLC meetup, maybe during that weekend. If this article is correct, I should be able to set up the tournament to include DLC courses (or even only DLC courses), but only those who've purchased the DLC will be able to join.

Since the DS, every Mario Kart has had 32 tracks each (8 cups). The DLC is an extra 50%. Whooooo

Link and Animal Crossing characters/courses should've been included in the base game? Nah. We got exactly as much as one could expect from a Mario Kart game when it launched. Preordered the shit out of that DLC. Can't wait for new tracks. By the way, if you're as confused as I was about the map update, to get the onscreen map you have to press (-) on the gamepad. It works even if the gamepad isn't currently the active controller. Pro controller won't do it.

Alternative opinion: Save and cherish your most awful early work. It is a beautiful reminder of how stupid you used to be. case in point Anyway. You can't delete threads, but you still have full control over the content of your old posts. If you're updating an old track, edit out the outdated links and replace them with new ones before you reply to the thread. If someone quoted the old links, whatever. You'll be judged by the most recent work you've shown. You can also just abandon your old work and focus on new tracks. Sometimes it's best to move on. Either way, you can edit out the old links.

Also adds a records screen where you can see your coin total! Basically solves every complaint I have about the game aside from battle mode. And the fact that people are allowed to hit me with triple red shells.

Doesn't really bug me, but changing it doesn't bug me either. Well...changing the harp note would bug me, but changing the pulse note doesn't. Update Also reduced the volume on the leads from 2:04-2:30 and broke up some of the long sustained notes.

Ahh! As I was exporting it, I remembered that I'd meant to go through and widen the square arps a little. Then I forgot to go back. I'm not sure what you mean here. Pushing the staccato pulse back? Is that considered an arp?

Go to online mode (1 or 2 players both work), tournaments, search by code, enter this: 0268-4142-9420 The thing wildfire said about joining friends is important. You can do that to start with if you're friends with any of us, but it also lists people you've recently raced. If at any point you need to leave and come back, rejoin through the friends page. If you try to rejoin through the tournament page, you'll likely create a very lonely second room. I think the game interprets your leaving as an indication that you don't want to be with that group of people. You can join anytime from 9PM to 10PM central, but it's best to join at the top of the hour for accurate rankings.

Time has passed. Nightly tournaments are no longer viable. I asked a few regulars, and weekly tournaments on Monday night sounds like the best choice so far (still at 9PM CDT). We can also occasionally have special meetups announced in advance if you want to play less often than once a week. Any objections?

Partway through the remix, I was like "ok, this is pretty sweet, but I need to know how much of the sweetness was already in the original." So I went and listened to the source material, which I hadn't heard before. It was kind of sweet, but this arrangement is mega sweet. It's like I'm swimming in liquid music. The harmonies and progressions and textures are so good.
