  1. Well, some directors don't want to wait on live players... especially when they take six months and don't deliver. I have had a few collaborations fail myself, so I definitely understand where your concerns are coming from. But if the brass collaboration falls through, we still have the finished percussion version of the track... which is what you wanted anyway. So I'll be finishing up my end first before we attempt to get into any collaboration stuff.
  2. Wait, it's 130AM and I want to make this sure I'm reading this right. You have brass players and you need a composer? I'm working on a percussion-only Sacrifice II track for Rozo, but if there's a brass quintet sitting around waiting to play something, I NEED TO KNOW. While I don't have serious 20th century chops, I do like the music and I have a friend at NYU who has written more than a few atonal tunes. His MGS remix was also just posted (Alexander Bornstein - Solid Snake's Cigarette Break)... Once I lay down the percussion I doubt Alex would turn down the opportunity to write for some brass players, if he has the time. Rozo, what do you think?
  3. Two awesome remixers... Happy Birthday
  4. Team Ninja just shit on the coolest female character in gaming. Might as well give Samus an apron while you're at it so Adam can authorize her to fix him some dinner.
  5. I was at comic-con this year and saw a demo of Other M. It definitely had a lot of talking and narration from what I can remember. I don't remember cut scenes, but I'm sure they're in there if this game is going to be about character development. If the writing was as good as Red Dead Redemption, it wouldn't have bothered me. But it wasn't, so... I guess we'll see. I'm still going to play it.
  6. Thanks. I could do another version where the vocals come sooner if you'd like. I'll try it tonight if I have the time.
  7. This is some cool shit. Your intro/outro track reminds me of so many things in a good way. The Open Door combines that retro electronic sound with metal and the result is fucking sweet, if you ask me. Well done man.
  8. I like the music quite a bit, but the vocals aren't really my style. I thought this was cool nonetheless. You might like a Toronto band called Woodhands, check them out if you feel like it. I thought it was kind of similar to what you're doing. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=SJHf2wz1N0M&feature=related Crystal Castles does the lo-fi/chiptune thing in a pretty cool way too. Also a Toronto band
  9. Definitely. Originals/Other has always been my favorite board, so I'm trying to make an effort to visit and comment more
  10. This is seriously great, man. Awesome work.
  11. Sounds more like jungle to me. And downright brutal sounding. You've got the style down pat. I really enjoyed this. also: great title.
  12. I definitely get that vibe. Makes me think of NEs Metroid and SNES Starfox mixed together with beats. Nice work, man
  13. I don't check this board nearly as often as I should, sorry for the lateness man. I don't know what happened there with mediafire. I put up on megaupload if you're still interested in checking it out. http://www.megaupload.com/?d=KCDX2ULZ
  14. thanks man! the beats are repetitive but i get a bit lazy when i'm doing original work. i appreciate you taking the time to check it out edit: and yes, two minutes is way too long to go before dropping vocals heh...
  15. I've never heard so many themes woven together into a single composition. You, sir, are crazy good.
  16. Still making good shit as usual I see. It seems you and I always seem to come back here around the same time. I used to go by jezon2000, don't know if you remember that name. I switched to this account since then for remixing. It's kind of a long story. Anyway, nice tune man. Doesn't sound like writer's block to me
  17. Might as well post this one too http://205.196.122.15/g5pk41wsylyg/njozynwk2wo/emo+piano.mp3
  18. Thanks! I just threw the samples in there for fun. They're from a movie I helped write in college. It's kind of a joke for my friends. We say "SHOVE IT IN MY ASS, PUSSY!!" all the time because we like quoting the movie, so I thought I'd just put this on while we're working and catch them off guard. I could probably add a lot more to make this remix more interesting, but I think I'm done for now. Here's a version of the track w/out the movie samples: http://download679.mediafire.com/6uwqctfam10g/egdiq1ve34p6bv1/Silence.mp3 Thanks for listening
  19. I was basically messing around for lack of something better to do. So the result is rather unfocused... but somewhere in the ballpark of a Sarah Mclaughlan chilledout/dubstep remix... with unrelated movie samples. It's a pretty lazy remix, I'll admit, but it still turned out kind of cool. There's something to be said for just making tunes for the fun of it, so I thought I'd share it http://download577.mediafire.com/e1uex28oot7g/7nlsmdlm9al2dnh/Hungry+Tiger.mp3
  20. Tiffany Lyles-Patton is my bitch.

  21. I got prophet's shirt, but uhhh... I didn't see all this. Apologies. Prophet; pm me your address etc. Then we'll talk about WHERE MA MONEY AT, BITCH
  22. I suggest taking screenshots of winamp to prove that our remixes are remixes.
  23. My guess is the okami wolf shirt carries more potent enchantments than its three wolf moon predecessor (LINK) and probably glows in the dark. Unfortunately, it still doesn't have wolves on the sleeves.
  24. The lead designer of the Okami series, Motohide Eshiro, was wearing this when I went up to get a poster signed yesterday at comic-con. I nearly shat myself when I saw it, but there is absolutely no way to buy it right now. I asked several staff about the shirt. They are giving it away in raffles, etc... but I personally think people would pay almost anything to have this, even as a collectors item. I just wanted to share this with all of you. If we ever do an Okami collaboration album, let's just say the artwork we should use is pretty obvious. I also saw a No-Face cosplayer from Spirited Away. I took a picture of him shopping for pocket watches at some bronze casting booth:
