I think it would be nice if these were just renders of the compositions and they were going to have it all actually orchestrated and recorded for the game.

I heard it's because of the advertising for Kawasaki that used to be there - they had to remove all of it and replace it with other stuff.

Cool update. It said it also affects the Weather Channel, but the only main updates I see are to the News channel and the addition of that clock. It also says there's new search capability in the Shop channel but when I try to connect to it it gives me an error. The error code isn't turning anything up on nintendowifi.com. Anyone else not able to get into the shop channel after the update? Edit: That clock being off-center is really going to bother me.

Wonder if this will in some way replace the cloaking device.

I just recently discovered the "smart playlist" option in iTunes. Since my collection of music is usually filled with totally obscure stuff that's great but I've totally forgotten is even there, I don't regularly listen to a lot of it - my idea is to create a smart playlist that I can get to which allows me to listen to like the 20 LEAST played tracks on my ipod - and I'd just keep using it. So, my problem. Creating said playlist was easy, and it seems to work fine, but I have a few videos on my ipod and I basically never watch them, so all my videos are appearing in my new least played playlist. Is there a way to exclude videos from a playlist/smart playlist or just the library altogether without deleting them?

The LCD monitor my dad got for his computer used to flash pink all the time. He adjusted the connection to the back of the computer and it still did it. What eventually fixed it was we just took out the whole cord and flipped it, end for end, so that the old connection to the computer now connected to the monitor and vice versa. You might want to try this - it's never bothered us again.

Kinda like me - I was never able to use the photo channel because I don't have any SD cards, and I assumed I didn't have any in the message board. I just now discovered that there's been a sample picture in there this whole time which finally let me mess with it. Also, I found that background music page in the slideshow options - there are like 20 songs in there that you don't hear anywhere else on the wii, and it's just in some options button in a mode of one of the channels.

Since it was such a cheap system they actually had it connected wrong inside, so while I had connected them correctly everything still came out wrong. Doesn't sound like that's your problem. So. Whenever I install sound blaster drivers it asks me what speaker system I have, and I always click 2.1. It sounds to me like your soundcard still thinks you only have 2 speakers connected and doesn't know you have more. If you haven't already done this, try right-clicking the little volume thing in the system tray, and going into adjust audio properties - then click audio, advanced, and there should be a "speakers" tab you'll be in where you can adjust what your setup is. If you haven't already done that it might fix your problem. If not, try maybe even reinstalling your drivers and make sure it knows. Not sure I can help more than that.

Well as to where you could ask it, usually they like to direct tech questions here. About your question - are you absolutely sure you've got it wired correctly back there? I once had a cheap surround system where I had that exact problem - turns out I accidentally connected them in reverse.

My thoughts are that you really need to play mario kart DS (hopping and several other moves return). Anyway, this looks pretty sweet. I hope they figure out a way to keep powersliding and eliminate snaking altogether. That killed Mario Kart DS online for me.

Be that as it may, the fight with Zant was just pure gold. I loved everything about that fight, especially the way the music kept building on itself. That was probably my favorite boss fight in any Zelda game.

Mario and Luigi: Partners in Time. First there was the huge fight against that one thing, then an even huger fight against the bigger thing. Together those took like an hour or more. But then, following that, is that totally pointless fight against Bowser that takes like 2 minutes. That fight is easier than probably the first boss fight in the game, and it's the FINAL boss. It didn't feel right at all, like it was just kind of thrown in. Killed the mood after beating the huge guy.

Just a response to several people: I don't think so - I was accidentally spoiled somewhat by an IGN screenshot that shows Samus in some kind of an odd looking suit with blue patches on it. But you might still be right because I'm guessing that suit is some kind of Federation armor or something. I don't want to know till I play. Personally, I liked the Prime boxart. I mean, what more do you need than Samus standing there and looking badass? Something that's really missing for me about the Prime 3 boxart is that behind the logo for Primes 1 and 2 is a circle of some kind with a design in it - the original "blue/orange" logo for Prime 3 had one similar to that, but it was removed for the final design. I say they should have kept the old one to keep it consistent. Yeah anyway, I'll stand with those that don't like the boxart - overall the design just sucks. It'd be nice if they'd surprise us with a last-minute change. It's been ported to Wii, but they're probably saving it for release with the "second wave" to keep sales going. I say it should have been the final GC game instead. That's cool and all, but still all I own for it is Zelda...nothing else except maybe Paper Mario has really interested me at all. All the ones I really want for it aren't even out yet.
