  1. Great - yeah, I loved thousand year door's soundtrack. I look forward to this, then.
  2. I'm gonna wait awhile on this game. Got to finish Zelda while I work up the money.
  3. I'll go give "Not Commercial" a celebratory relisten.
  4. Now I'm glad I never played/bought the GC version. Sweet deal. Incidentally, since I'm a big fan of both Metal Slug games and Paper Mario games, which would you recommend I get (between MSA and SPM)? Also, I'll probably be sold on Umbrella Chronicles. On-rails shooter action on wii sounds great to me.
  5. Red means it has multiple exits - I'm pretty sure that the small red dot means 2 exits while the large one, which as you mentioned is in Vanilla Dome, has 3 exits. Pretty sure.
  6. Rock-ish remix of the credits theme from Virtual Boy Wario Land. No joke. It's been totally written out in my head for awhile. Can't really work on it now though because I want to keep going on my album project. Also, I've had an idea bouncing around for a funk rendition of the Death Egg theme from S&K but it would be beyond my skills right now to actually make it. Weird that neither of these is the style I usually wind up making. Maybe I ought to think about that more.
  7. I think it's already like this in melee - I believe that once you've used your second jump and are falling from it you sort of flash a little bit...? I can't really remember too well.
  8. First of all: YES - thank you for at last providing me with Wario goodness - maybe someday I can follow suit. Second - this is a pretty badass interpretation of this song. I never would have expected this style to be applied to it, especially because the original song, while awesome, was pretty bizarre. Anyway, other than your awesome game and style choices, you've actually got a lot of cool stuff packed into this groovy little tune. Your solos are a nice highlight, which reminds me - I think my favorite part of your arrangement was at 3:18 when those "melody chords" come in overlayed on your solo - took me by surprise, right at a time when I was wondering how you'd work the melody back in into the groove. This is really difficult source material, but you took it and ran with it. Awesomeness abound.
  9. I'd better hear the Tron theme hidden somewhere in every damn one of these songs.
  10. There's usually a lot of other requests over here: http://www.ocremix.org/forums/forumdisplay.php?f=10 Anyway I second what Dhsu said - check out the American Album. He has a good number of mixes on that, all with really different styles.
  11. The price of this game is going to be ridiculous with all the peripherals... Also, though that article only said PS3 and 360, IGN says that the harmonix ceo writes it will "absolutely be on wii". (http://wii.ign.com/articles/777/777553p1.html)
  12. Obviously I'm sticking around.
  13. You guys make me sick. I'm out of here as well.
  14. For one, do enough people actually get enough use out of this plugin to have it be worthwhile at all? For two, why on earth would you advertise both mac and itunes in your sig?
  15. Or, if you have a wii, you can do what I'm doing - get it and play it with the gc controller.
  16. Obligatory Wii post. Carry on.
  17. I hope that when people get really into Brawl they won't start coming up with all these cute little names for moves they've invented ("wavedashing" and the like). It always seemed cheesy and pointless to me, especially because as far as I know the developers themselves didn't come up with the names and arguably didn't even know the moves existed (though I've heard otherwise from some people). Course, there's always the fact that I was never able to even DO any of those moves in Melee, so that probably makes me a bit biased. Incidentally, how did everyone wind up calling Fox's Reflector move the "shine"? I first started hearing it from my friends who played smash and I had no idea what they were talking about.
  18. I now own a Wii. And it is amazing. As soon as I get the money, Zelda and Metal Slug Anthology are mine.
  19. They're just starting to branch out - Snake is evidence of that. Do you think any Smash game in the future will ever be a GAME fighter instead of a Nintnendo fighter - characters licensed from many different franchises, different companies, all brought together in a game like this? It's probably been suggested and shot down by lots of people in this thread, but just think about it. The idea of Nintendo franchises meeting together and fighting is an awesome idea alone - but there are so many more that they could include. For the sake of being realistic, they could oust many of the non-important Nintendo characters and replace them with some from other companies. I get the feeling that once Brawl comes out, it will still be awesome, but the idea will be somewhat stale. How many times can you just slightly edit the same characters for rerelease? (Don't get me wrong, I think Brawl will be incredible - it's just that an idea like this could totally breathe new life into it.) I think something like this could be a lot of fun for the game industry in general - every star character, licensed and included in a totally ridiculous fighting game. Who knows, could bring certain companies closer together. Now for an actual realistic idea, as the above is likely never going to happen - it was just an idea I had bouncing around. In Brawl, I really hope they revamp the costume system. This has also probably been mentioned, but again, I don't really keep up with this thread. Instead of color-switching, I want to actually be able to change the costume my character is wearing - go from Biker, Wario Ware style Wario to yellow and purple Badass Wario. Change from TP link to cel-shaded link. Something like that. If they wanted to go all out, they could totally scrap the idea of clone characters and instead incorporate them into the costume idea - have each costume play SLIGHTLY differently. Switch from Mario to Dr. Mario to Sunshine Mario (with a FLUDD to use, of course) as a COSTUME, or for any of the Pokemon characters, each costume could be a different evolution of that character. Things like that. No clone characters and way more customization! Maybe even have a minor character editor screen to include in some way to outfit your fighters with different accessories, or maybe change colors there, so on. The less times two people fight using EXACTLY the same character, the better. Would be nice to have some personalization. On a totally random note, it would be cool to have both Samurai Goroh and Waluigi in Brawl. That aside, I need a Wii really badly.
  20. Hey. This isn't getting enough attention. I really like it - perhaps a bit more drawn out than I might have liked, but I love the mood with the instruments you have. Looking forward to more!
  21. Pirates 2 felt like a cartoon. I hope this isn't like that.
  22. Victory versus Kholdstare, 3-1. It was fun but it reminds me how much I weave around...so slidey... Aren't most of us? I am...
  23. Hey, got a random question about the DS. If I change my DS username, will I lose my stats for online games such as Mario Kart and Hunters (or any game for that matter)?
