  1. I was gonna say what have I been listening to the past couple months.
  2. I was excited for his second album coming out in July but it wasn't as good as it could have been.
  3. I would say Norton's PartitionMagic...but that costs money and it doesn't work on Windows 7.
  4. I should have clarified, my XP partition was on my E: drive and not my C: drive. EasyBCD had the option grayed out under C: but I added it anyway and it worked. It couldn't hurt to try it and then remove it later if it doesn't work.
  5. So I had the same problem as you just now but with my computer booting into Windows XP rather than 7. I did use EasyBCD to fix the problem. I don't believe that XP and older Windows OS's require you to specify a drive letter hence why EasyBCD won't let you. I didn't specify one when I inserted the XP entry and it fixed it for me.

  7. I'm surprised the sequel to this project hasn't been announced yet.
  8. *high fives mephisto for CC* Chrono Cross has to be up there as one of my favorites just because of the awesome stoy and the music that accompanied it. But I've also never played Chrono Trigger even though I own it(sorry 8BitBliss). Time to start running from the pitchfork mob. Anywho, I had no problem enjoying games during the N64 and Playstation era but now I have a hard time getting back into them because of all the new games we have now. The worst part about it is that graphics play a big role in that. I can't get over it for some reason. And if I do, it's not for long and I can never finish an RPG in time before I get fed up with the 3D rendering.
  9. I love Celtic and New Age stuff. Been listening to the Enya Radio on Pandora and found some good stuff like Secret Garden among others. I'll give this stuff a listen after this headache of mine goes away.
  10. I'm just glad you picked a Lost Odyssey track. I think most of that soundtrack is underappreciated.
  11. Well tried another Win7 computer. Same thing. For now I've decided to just reorganize my ipod until my friend moves in with his XP comp. But another problem came up. All my third party apps crash to the main screen when I try to load them. I think it has to do with licensing issues because all the default apps work. I've had this issue before and it came up and went away at an annoying rate but then it stopped all of a sudden. Things I've tried with no luck: deleting and redownloading apps, downloading another app from the appstore, rebooting the ipod, restoring to factory settings and restoring from a backup
  12. Definitely a good movie. I didn't know anything about it except for the ads on the buses around campus. I recommend seeing this over all the other movies out in theatres right now. And if you don't feel like spending an arm and a leg to see it right now, go see it in the dollar theatre when it gets released if you guys have one of those in your town. The action and the suspense was very well done. However, one of the few things I didn't like was that the movie was a little predictable at certain parts, which ruined the suspense at key moments.
  13. Well I've been using XP as well as 7. I'm starting to think that there's something with my hardware that might be effing this up. Gonna try on a different computer entirely when I get the time.
  14. No luck at all when I restored back to 2.2. Attempts on both OS's failed. Not sure if I want to upgrade to 3.0 yet.
  15. They probably get a 1% cut (bet it's higher though) from the sales and also have ad revenue for the games they offer. Valve rolls in the dough because of Steam.
  16. Unfortunately I don't believe there is a way to do exactly what you wanted. The best I think you can do is place OCRemix as the artist name and replace the original composer with the ReMixer's name. Granted, the composer field doesn't display on the iPod while the song is playing but at least you have the info?
  17. Followed all the steps you listed exactly and I got the exact same issue that I did on Windows 7: unable to recognize ipsw file. I also never upgraded past 2.2.1 because it costs $10 to buy the 3.0 firmware, so screw that. Have any insights?
  18. That's me and my friends. My Xbox is modded to play backups and I've saved myself quit a bit of money to replace games that have been scratched to death. Poor Halo 3...
  19. I actually provide that service myself, and I have (and still am) advertising that service on a thread here at OCR. I believe the mod the CSUF student got arrested for is the DVD firmware mod which allows you to play backups (euphemism lolol) of your games. If he got arrested for fixing 3RL errors then he'd be able to get off easy because it's the exact same thing as fixing, for example, your laptop for faulty hardware.
  20. Not sure why your Vista is doing that, I've had a partition with Vista as small as 120gb before so dunno what's going on there. I've been lucky enough to use (for free) Symantec's Partition Magic which worked like a charm when I wanted to split my storage drive into 120gb partitions to try out Windows 7. I'm not sure what other software is out there that's like Partition Magic (the damned [no pun intended] thing is $69.95) but there's a free trial version that might suit your needs. Check the limitations on the free version though. http://www.softpedia.com/get/System/Hard-Disk-Utils/Partition-Magic.shtml
  21. Try this: http://www.pandorarecovery.com/ I've used it with some success. The amount of rewriting you do to your hard drive will affect how much you recover. So make sure you don't reload everything else back on otherwise you risk overwriting the very pictures you want to save.
  22. Alright it's been a while. First, I've decided to jailbreak my iPod Touch 2nd gen with 2.2.1 official firmware. I got the necessary tools, namely Quickpwn 2.2.5 and I have a copy of the official 2.2.1 firmware for 2g iPod touches downloaded with iTunes saved on my computer. The problem: Neither Quickpwn nor redsn0w recognize the ipsw file that I got through itunes. I also tried downloading the firmware from other sources, no luck. I'm running Windows 7 32-bit and I tried running the programs with administrative priviledges. I also tried compatibility settings to WinXP service packs 2 and 3, again no luck. Any suggestions?
  23. Always been a sucker for skinning things. Also the repair guides are for soul . I'm still running 2.2 firmware, should I upgrade to 2.2.1 or 3 to jailbreak my ipod touch? And is there a difference between jailbreaking the touch vs. the iphone?
