Rozovian Posted March 11, 2009 Posted March 11, 2009 Three things: 1) This goes here. Mods... 2) YES Decisions aren't posted (publically) until the remix is. It says so here. Newbs.. 3) Speaking of months, there hasn't been a Currently in the Judging Process update in one month. Judges... Quote
Liontamer Posted March 11, 2009 Author Posted March 11, 2009 http://www.ocremix.org/info/Judges_Panel#Why_are_there_so_many_rejections_in_a_row.3F That's why there are so many NOs in a row. As for YESs by the panel, those are definitely available once a mix is posted. Those threads are always available on the mix's writeup page. I need to do some judging. Quote
jmr Posted March 11, 2009 Posted March 11, 2009 All but two of the ten recently posted remixes were direct posts. If a posted song was evaluated by the judges, a link to the decision thread will be on the right hand side of the song page, just above the Amazon ad. Quote
big giant circles Posted March 11, 2009 Posted March 11, 2009 you mean the judges actually YES songs?! shut your mouth. we'll not tolerate you spreading such lies around here. Quote
prophetik music Posted March 11, 2009 Posted March 11, 2009 so why hasn't the 'currently' page been updated recently? can't anyone do that? you should see who updates more often. it could be a contest. a contest that actually means something to the faithful here at ocr! Quote
Nekofrog Posted March 11, 2009 Posted March 11, 2009 shut your mouth. we'll not tolerate you spreading such lies around here. Oh, please. You people make me sick. We all know that the judges don't exist. They're clearly a clever ruse to make us all believe that this site ISN'T run by a complete and total tyrannical dictator. We ALL KNOW that every judge post is randomly generated, and no mix is ever actually listened to by anyone before it's posted. So go ahead, so-called "judges". Your YES and your NO means absolutely nothing to me, for THEY ARE BASED ON A FALSE PREMISE THAT THERE IS ACTUALLY ANY SORT OF DEMOCRACY HERE. Quote

Level 99 Posted March 11, 2009 Posted March 11, 2009 The judges are fake. They're photoshopped. The shadows are all wrong. Quote
big giant circles Posted March 11, 2009 Posted March 11, 2009 Needs more reverb and less boom hiss.NO I think we just found a new candidate for the "judge bots" Quote

prophetik music Posted March 11, 2009 Posted March 11, 2009 I think we just found a new candidate for the "judge bots" you've already got a 'the o*' model on the shtyjdgbot panel. get creative! you don't have anyone with their real name on there. vote for xjesse! Quote

BGC tried to organize assigning the duty in a rotation, but when you have judges that aren't even aware we're TRYING to organize something like this, it doesn't work. Besides which, we're already plenty behind on the queue and I'd personally rather judges spend their efforts there. I'll try to update the thread tonight or tomorrow. Quote

commandcom Posted March 11, 2009 Posted March 11, 2009 All but two of the ten recently posted remixes were direct posts. Ok, that was my impression in the first place. Thanks, Jorge Quote
prophetik music Posted March 12, 2009 Posted March 12, 2009 hey judges, i think avaris and i pm'd you about this three or four times a few months ago, but we pulled our mixes off of super dodge ball because it's been so long since anything happened. so you can move them to the normal post queue. thanks. and, larry, that interview thing that i was musicing for...it's STILL done. TCK Posted March 12, 2009 Posted March 12, 2009 What I can't work out is why there are TBP mixes on the queue from 2007. Not that that's necessarily a judges thing, but still! Sup. Quote
BlackPanther Posted March 12, 2009 Posted March 12, 2009 What I can't work out is why there are TBP mixes on the queue from 2007. Not that that's necessarily a judges thing, but still!Sup. I was wondering about that as well. It may sound dumb but I think it would kinda work: If you take the new releases off the front page and just provide a link to a new page with nothing but new releases. That way people can explore all the new releases on one page and you could add more songs that way. I don't think the focus would drift off since peoples interest is directed to the new page full of all of these new remixes. Just a thought... Quote

Nah, I think in all these cases we're waiting for fixes from the remixer. When we vote something YES (conditional), it goes into the TBP list. Quote
Rozovian Posted March 18, 2009 Posted March 18, 2009 I suggest marking those remixes so ppl who have been somewhat incommunicado (or whom the Js have forgotten to contact) can see why their remix hasn't been posted after a year in the queue. e.g. 2007-XX-XX FreeSpace 2 'Dang Those Dragons' *awaiting response from remixer* Quote
