OceansAndrew Posted September 23, 2008 Author Posted September 23, 2008 Lots of Updated WIPs, and a few tracks that are nearing completion! Also, the artwork is almost there, and you've probably seen some it on the various banners, but we are almost ready for the whole art reveal. I'm pretty excited at least!
OceansAndrew Posted September 30, 2008 Author Posted September 30, 2008 ohoo it is RECKONING DAY! I'll be PMing people who need to show me an updated WIP. Hopefully I won't have to cut anyone, but we'll see what happens.
prophetik music Posted September 30, 2008 Posted September 30, 2008 you know, if you'd just give me a due date, i'd have it done by then. way better than this wip date stuff =)
OceansAndrew Posted September 30, 2008 Author Posted September 30, 2008 you know, if you'd just give me a due date, i'd have it done by then. way better than this wip date stuff =) you have 2 days.
Dhsu Posted September 30, 2008 Posted September 30, 2008 So I probably should've mentioned this earlier, but I just got a new job in a different state and have thus been kind of busy with the move and the job and so on. More importantly though, I'm again left without access to a piano. I'm definitely in the market for a digital piano, but it'll most likely be some time before I get the funds. So in short, if anyone has any ideas for Damcyan, go for it. If not, well...I guess I'll finish it when I finish it. Sorry for the inconvenience, guys.
nrich Posted September 30, 2008 Posted September 30, 2008 Hey I just recently had to reinstall a fresh copy of Windows due to a bombardment of viruses and spyware, so right now I'm currently working towards getting my recording setup situated I didn't lose any important files/demos (I hope) so this shouldn't delay anything too much
prophetik music Posted September 30, 2008 Posted September 30, 2008 i dealt with that recently. annoying as hell. lucky you didn't lose anything. that's what's nice about only having my windows installation on that disc...i can just format and start over if the worst happens, as opposed to backing stuff up constantly.
Nekofrog Posted October 1, 2008 Posted October 1, 2008 Now that I know for a fact my Chronotrigger mix has been accepted, I can now close that. That reduces my number of mixes open from 3 to 2. That would be my FF4 tune and my DKC2 tune; my DKC2 is completely done from MY end (still waiting for someone else to do something on it), so in reality I really only have one open now. So now I can focus on this one, yay.
OceansAndrew Posted October 1, 2008 Author Posted October 1, 2008 I only need to hear from a few more mixers to get an idea of where we are at. Updated the progress charts; there are a lot of WIPs that are almost there.
MadGonzo Posted October 1, 2008 Posted October 1, 2008 love the bloodsplatters on reckoning day... makes me feel even more uncomfortable
OceansAndrew Posted October 2, 2008 Author Posted October 2, 2008 There's just 1 mixer I need to hear from, so I think that reckoning day came and went; some mixes are open now, so if you have the time, inclination, and skill, send me a WIP.
Liontamer Posted October 4, 2008 Posted October 4, 2008 Thanks for not capitalizing the C in OverClocked in that sig banner, Andrew.

Nutritious Posted October 5, 2008 Posted October 5, 2008 If only I would have looked at the website while making it, i would have done things di d dd d d iff f ff eernt ll l y y y Where's your WIP, Larry? Awesome. Post.
Platonist Posted October 5, 2008 Posted October 5, 2008 i think i might have something here.. but don't count on me OA, if i manage to finish it i'll send you a PM soon enough
OceansAndrew Posted October 13, 2008 Author Posted October 13, 2008 Updated the list with some completed tracks, and reminding everyone to work on your tracks! 2.5 weeks until the true pwnage begins!
Thin Crust Posted October 14, 2008 Posted October 14, 2008 You know what? I'm going to try and play through this game before this project is released. Now should I go for the ps1 version, or the ds version?
nrich Posted October 14, 2008 Posted October 14, 2008 SNES version... wordiddy word word Playstation port is not worth the cash, and the DS version... well yknow, that's the DS nothing wrong with the GBA port, though. so if you can't afford the ebay splendor, rock that shit out
audio fidelity Posted October 14, 2008 Posted October 14, 2008 gba port is the way to go so you can some nudy magazine action goin! heh. they always said that 2 was dumbed down in the states. I love the ol' school feel - but i haven't tried to play the ol' snes version in sometime thanks to the gba and ds version. not sure if it would still hold up to the gba. ds was nice - especially all the added stuff - but i'm still more of a fan of the original where your just a dot on the screen that moves.
Thin Crust Posted October 14, 2008 Posted October 14, 2008 Sadly I don't have an snes and I don't plan on getting one. I got into games later in life so my initial exposure to them was the playstation era. Which means that anything before that doesn't hold any sedimental value. Plus I've had a DS for over a year and I never bought a single game for it.
DragonAvenger Posted October 14, 2008 Posted October 14, 2008 gba port is the way to go so you can some nudy magazine action goin!heh. Quoted for bad grammar.
OceansAndrew Posted October 14, 2008 Author Posted October 14, 2008 get the DS version, it's awesome.
