Animae
To be honest, I don't have any expectations for this. It's supposedly directed by Uematsu, but remixed and produced by someone called Ante/Ian Hartley and mattb. Link to trailer
Mirby
Let's see, they use Opening ~ Bombing Mission (FF7), then Eternal Wind (FF3), and then Grand Cross (FF9). They sound like they're 8-Bit though. Meh, awesome idea. DO WANT!

Imagist
I can't even tell what this is supposed to be. All I see is a Bomb-themed Winamp-esque visualization played to remixed music, with some credits thrown on the end.
Animae
why not Well, then I won't be dissapointed if it's bad. I will not judge the album before I've listened to it, but the samples in the video didn't sound very good(except for the great revamped Grand Cross bass riff at the end). Mirby
The quality is what made me say it sounded 8-Bit.
Brycepops
The quality is what made me say it sounded 8-Bit. The only thing I could hear that was even close to 8-bit was the FF3 song, because well, it WAS the 8-bit version o.o
jayc4life
I'll give it a go when it comes out, but why pay for that when i can get Final Fantasy ReMixes here for free?

Nohbody
Uematsu is very connected to his fanbase, hence the Black Mages. This seems like something he would do. Just for giggles: skip to 2:04 and youll see what I mean.
Animae
You can now dance to the music from your magical fantasies. Nobuo Uematsu, the renowned music director of the quintessential RPG series Final Fantasy have rearranged the themes from the games as a real club remix. Aside from DJs, Ian Hartley and Matt Baggiani from the music production group Ante are also invited to work on this rich volume. The long awaited Final Fantasy Remix is now available for US$ 23.90 only. 1. Prelude2. Eternal Wind 3. Terra's Theme 4. Opening-Bombing Mission- 5. JENOVA 6. Liberi Fatali 7. Blue Fields 8. Cecilff2
Guys! Someone should remix some FF music here! Everybody get on this! No no, we should be competing with this album instead. Let's do Chrono Trigger. Schala's theme is awesome and deserving of a remix.
XZero
If anything's deserving of a remix, it's Schala's Theme. Someone should get on that. Oh, and Corridor of Time! No one's ever done that before! Edit: Meh, heard the album (friend got it from iTunes I think). Not that impressed overall. Some good stuff, but a lot of the mixes on this site and in the Project Majestic Mix album were better. Good try, Square-Enix.
Killmur
Only FF remix I'll listen to is the Final Fantasy VII: Voices of the Lifestream album that OCR did. Hey why not? It's free and it was made by a community that cares. Might checkout the FF remix album by SE anyways.
Mirby
I'll have to check this out when BlueLaguna uploads it, I mean when I can afford it. >_>
Barnsalot
Just listened to all the tracks on the album. Terribly unimpressive to say the least. It sounds as if they just had a few "phat beats" lying around and decided to paste Final Fantasy melodies on top of them and market them as remixes. The actual source tunes have been changed very little. It's mostly just instrument changes and new percussion tracks in each song that make-up the "remix". jayc4life
So it's more of an overdub instead of a remix then? You might have just saved me €20 with that statement. But then again, I don't think I was really going to bother with it anyways.
Bleck
as long as we're all remixing things that desperately need attention let me go get started on Ice Cap from Sonic
SoulinEther
as long as we're all remixing things that desperately need attentionlet me go get started on Ice Cap from Sonic 3 and i'll go try my hand at dr. wily's theme from mm2.
Mirby
Why not MM4? That battle theme is epic. Although you can never have too many Wily Stage 1 remixes. It's quite epic as well.
