Wacky
A band with strong jazz/funk influences with a guitarist and bassist who like going into psychotic rock riffs every now and then calling themselves "You had me at Hello." Good name or not?
RealFolkBlues
How many pieces? Some ideas: The Felonious Funk Blue Memory Ramble Also, "Had Me at Hello" works alright. Drop the "You" if you decide to go with that.
Klowd1661
Ehh... I'm iffy on it. I do think that RealFolkBlues had a good idea with "Blue Memory". Just my opinion though.
relyanCe
"Had Me at Hello". Distinctive without feeling forced.
Liontamer
"Had Me at Hello". Distinctive without feeling forced. I liked the original name, but that shortening of it works very nicely.
Ferret
Had Me at Hello works well enough. I'm prone to unusual naming schemes like Missing G String and things like that. Personal Holiday comes to mind as a potential name, too.
3Sparrow
Here's a decent band name generator. You know, if you're still up in the air on a name.
K.B.
Lame. Don't associate, it won't work. Even 'had me at hello' will always mean the band is some jerry maguire ripoff. Come up with something original, even if it doesn't make sense. Like starbucks. I'd rec names, but it has to be self-inspired. And I mean SELF-inspired. Even if you do a Trent Reznor and say 'do you know how hard it is to come up with band names' and decide on NIN, at lest it's self-inspired. LuketheXjesse
Honestly I get a pop-punk kinda feel with it :\ Too many words at once for me, too. 3's my limit. But it's whatever you like, dude. If YOU think it persoifies this band, then so be it. I can respect that.

Brushfire
Not nearly as awesome as Abraham Lincoln's Sexy Experience. But you might get a lot of gigs with that name. Had me at Hello is a good name though.

richter
Lame.Don't associate, it won't work. Even 'had me at hello' will always mean the band is some jerry maguire ripoff. Come up with something original, even if it doesn't make sense. Like starbucks. Agreed. Why would a jazz band want to associate with Jerry Macquire? Pick a mashup of catchy words that relate to your band members somehow.
