duskvstweak
Freaking Goldeneye! Yes freaking yes! Not only is this a mix to a game I wish was shown more love, but it's a awesome! I really like the "creepy" take on some of the mix, and love that it kept surprising me throughout the song, with me being unable to guess where the mix was going. Thanks a lot for doing this, you made a most professional and most deadly mix here.
Dubanubiel
Very edgy. This is my kind of darker, edgy, experimental electronica. Not going to lie, I find that Goldeneye kinda lacked in game music (even though it's in my top 5 N64 games list), but you brought a new... I don't want to say light due to the darkness of the tune but that's all that comes to mind. Welcome to the site, BlackPanther, and keep 'em coming! RoeTaKa
I don't usually frequent the site anymore but every now and then something will catch my eye, Goldeneye is definitely one of those games. There's some things I really like, the bass and kick feel great for instance it hits my body nice through my sub. It seems really loud but the production is pretty good so nice one on that, though I do think in places reverb and eq could have been used a bit more tastier on things like the Bongos and Timpani...the drums are great too though the snare personally could be a bit livelier. For me, it's all about that last minute, that's some groovy shit it really gets the feel down. My sister is sitting here saying she likes it too! Reading the artists' description hits home with me, it really makes me interested to hear the previous versions. I have no idea what you had to change but yeah more than once my inspiration got sucked dry here and I stopped submitting years back. Your inspiration is like your soul for writing, once you give that up to please everyone, that is like selling out and it makes me sad to read. You got some talent and it sounds like you'll be writing some great music in the future, I'll keep an eye out for the blackpanther.
MechaFone
I love the good solid beat, and the bass is seriously kickin'. I'm afraid I like previous Goldeneye remixes a bit better, but that's just me being biased. Excellent remix, definitely worth a listen. Nabeel Ansari
Great mix, nice arrangement, mood, soundscape, etc. :50-1:04 1:18-2:58 4:08-end I like the beat, but the drums could be mastered a tad better. I don't know if the aggressive distorted esque bass drum in some parts was intentional, but in my opinion it would've worked better if it was cleaner. It also makes the cymbal crashes sound distorted and clippy. Edited June 5, 2010 by Neblix
OceansAndrew
I'm loving the timpani and hand drums, and the little details all through this one really make it nice. Production can only get better from here on out, and the arrangement is excellent. Nice work dude, welcome to the remixer club.

Level 99
I totally forgot I wrote that paragraph of mine lol. Shows how bitter I was when I subbed that but still thankful at the same time. My perspective on things have changed a whole lot now. After comin to a realization that I suck it's easier to take criticism especially good criticism meant to help me lol. So thanks for the comments everyone although some things were said, looks like everyone's enjoyin it so far keep the comments comin ! It's fine, 9 out of 10 people go through that stage. Just like everyone is a forum n00b at one point or another, it only took you time to get where you are (and it DID push you to keep pushing yourself harder and higher than your original expectations, didn't it? Did the same for so many others). And I'm really glad you made it to this point! While I can hear some issue with compression about midway through (the bass is really powerful and is causing a meshing of all the sound when all the song is going full force), I'm definitely digging what you've done here. Also gets a little repetitive at times but that gives it the feeling of background music. The synths are cool though. I'm looking forward to seeing where you grow, musically, from here. Congrats and nice work.
Martin Penwald
Nice intro. Fat low-end. Awesome breakdown at ~1:10. Nice choice of synth 1:30 onwards. 2:30 onwards is just intense. Laughter at 4:33 is a nice touch. If there's one thing I had to criticise, I'd say that the distortion on the bass is a little over the top in some places. Bahamut
This is a pretty nifty piece - those 5 minutes passed like nothing, so it does a great job at holding your attention. In particular, the percussion melds well with the breakbeats, and the other instrumentation helps stretch the song out seamlessly. Not sure what the original bitterness was about, but I have to say that the song as it is is solid.
DarkSim
Yey, a GoldenEye mix! We totally need more of those, it's my favourite game EVER, so always nice to see it getting some attention. Great sounding synths (especially the xylophone-type one, it sounds very GoldenEye-y), and the bongos were cool too, if just a little over-exposed. I also really like the break section at 3:10. I kinda wish you'd made more of the melody that comes in from 2:29, although maybe that's just because you made it sound really good and it'd dilute that if it was present elsewhere in the mix (crops up again for a few secs at 4:44 - nice). Good first mix, and I've heard some of your more recent stuff and it's definitely improving. Hopefully hear more from you soon
Crulex
As Bahamut said, this song is one of those ReMixes that are long, but seem to go by in the blink of an eye because of how well it's done and how entertaining it is. Totally liked the mix of electronic and epic atmospheres here, and that breakdown seemed to fit right in. The thing at 4:33 made this earn it's creeper name, and of course I caught a slight Bond thing going on near the end. Great work.
swansdown
Nice sharp edges. I especially like the bit that goes from 1:30-2:15, but the atmosphere is great throughout the piece. Pretty damn cool ^__^
