Dyne Posted December 24, 2010 Author Posted December 24, 2010 Hmmm... Dyne still has the pre-bonus back art up. Well, until he updates the site, here's the updated back art...http://user.xthost.info/thecoop/AOCCv4_Back.png Totally updated thanks again Coop. Like I said, you ever come to MAGFest, I will buy you dinner, whatever you want boss. Quote
ocre Posted December 24, 2010 Posted December 24, 2010 I was wondering if you could make a list of which songs are original and which are arrangements/remixes. Thanks. Quote
BardicKnowledge Posted December 24, 2010 Posted December 24, 2010 Just downloaded this -- looking forward to listening to it this afternoon. Thanks to everyone involved! Quote
The Coop Posted December 25, 2010 Posted December 25, 2010 Just wanted to say nice work to everyone involved, and mention that I pimped this album (linked to of course) on four other sites. Quote
Bahamut Posted December 25, 2010 Posted December 25, 2010 I was confused at first, since I remember Rozo saying he was doing a DKC 2 song, and yet the first song on the album was one on A Bell is Tolling/Still of the Night from Secret of Mana! It reminded me of this mix, and how the sources seem to result in some beautiful takes on them. I absolutely love Nutritious for covering Greensleeves - it is a personal favorite melody of mine due to it having a medieval flavor & dramatic aspect to it, and he did a unique take on it. Lastly, thank you everyone for your efforts on this on a short notice! I hope you all have a merry Christmas and enjoy your day for the time you've given to all of us with the music! Quote
FermionAce Posted December 25, 2010 Posted December 25, 2010 Another great Overclocked Christmas album! I'm already looking forward to next year's edition! Quote
Zen Frazier Posted December 27, 2010 Posted December 27, 2010 Thanks guys, these are always a lot of fun. Love having more "unconventional" holiday music! Quote
Dj Mokram Posted December 28, 2010 Posted December 28, 2010 I was wondering if you could make a list of which songs are original and which are arrangements/remixes. Thanks. Seconded. I'm curious to know also. For those interested, mine is an arrangement of ' ' from Rockman ZX.Congrats to Dyne and everyone involved in making this album. Quote
JH Sounds Posted December 28, 2010 Posted December 28, 2010 Mine was an arrangment of Walrus Cove from Diddy Kong Racing. Quote
Bahamut Posted December 28, 2010 Posted December 28, 2010 Mine was an arrangment of Walrus Cove from Diddy Kong Racing. I thought that was pretty obvious but I guess if nobody played the game they wouldn't know the music. Quote
jmr Posted December 28, 2010 Posted December 28, 2010 Mine was an arrangement of the Ice Mountain Act 1 theme from Sonic Advance. It's a little rough, but considering I only worked on it for under 2 days... I'm pretty happy with it. Haven't listened to the entire album yet, but what I have heard has been good. Quote
Brandon Strader Posted December 28, 2010 Posted December 28, 2010 I was wondering if you could make a list of which songs are original and which are arrangements/remixes. Thanks. Mine was an original.. it's going to be on the acoustic album I'm trying to finish up now... Quote
Lampje4life Posted December 28, 2010 Posted December 28, 2010 Mine was an arrangement of this: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mOf4uNwvC6c Quote
Rozovian Posted December 28, 2010 Posted December 28, 2010 Aurora Australis is Eight Ringing Bells from Secret of Mana. Snowbox is the winter level music from DKC2. It was supposed to be an original, but then I recognized a part from it while listening to the DKC2 album and concluded it was really a remix. The first melody thing is original, you can hear the part I used there. Edit: Holy....I love Rozovian's Snowbox, awesome take on DKC2's Ice Theme I was confused at first, since I remember Rozo saying he was doing a DKC 2 song, and yet the first song on the album was one on A Bell is Tolling/Still of the Night from Secret of Mana! It reminded me of this mix, and how the sources seem to result in some beautiful takes on them. Hehehe. Also yes, and I tried to draw from source, not from that remix... but guess which one I kept thinking of when I tried to think of the source. btw, Sheexy from Seikens gave the album a mention over there. Cyril the Wolf Posted December 28, 2010 Posted December 28, 2010 I did freezeman's stage from MM7. Just for OCRE. Quote
ocre Posted December 28, 2010 Posted December 28, 2010 I'm just now getting around to listening to these and I'm really lovin' the tracks. Great work, everyone. Thanks Cyril. Your take on Freeze Man def has a great Christmas vibe. Nice job with the lyrics too. Quote
Guifrog Posted December 28, 2010 Posted December 28, 2010 Mine's original, but it's actually quite old. I remember having it finished during the beginning of 2009, so when the 4th xmas album was announced, I took it and made a few fixes in order to send it to Dyne. It was originally called "Aurora Borealis", but then Rozo's track came to ocremix with the same title, so I changed the name Quote

Emunator Posted December 29, 2010 Posted December 29, 2010 I'll chime in here too; my track was an original, improvised on the spot one night while I was bored Didn't have to make any changes to the recording. I consider it the best song I've ever recorded and I'm glad I was able to find an outlet to share it on Quote
