AngelCityOutlaw
What classic would you want to see on the xbox arcade or PSN etc (that is not already on it) so you could play it again with your friends without the need of an emulator? For me, it's this
Garpocalypse
For me it would be this: A fan remake in the style of Sonic Fan Remix would be great for this series seeing as how telecom shouldn't have been trusted with their own ips... Same deal for this one : http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=QqJcpenD0kE
Brushfire
They need to remake Infamous 2 already. I mean it has been out for nearly a month and they could've done so much with the technology available to us today.

Less Ashamed Of Self
I love plenty of obscure games... but for some reason the one that comes to mind from this thread title: Jet Grind Radio.
Modus
RAD, a mech game for PS2. Oh my gosh I would die for a remake of that game.
Guy In Rubber Suit
Final Fantasy 2 & 3 (SNES USA) Didn't they already do that? They remade FFIV, several times and gave it some story expansions. VI has only been ported to PSone and GBA with no real changes or updates.
Thalzon
FF6 on the GBA has an updated translation, requisite bonus dungeon, and additional espers in Leviathan, Gilgamesh, and Cactuar. That said I would really like a remake like the FF4 DS game, if only to see the entire cast in their Amano-designed 3D glory. Also, not to minimod, but isn't this essentially a favourites thread? Probably, but it could be expanded upon by explaining why you want to see the game remade and how you would want to see it remade. Or maybe a sequel or whatever. AngelCityOutlaw
It's not a favorites thread, the point is to try to discuss games we may have forgotten. The thread isn't really about "remakes" more like "re-launch". Like what they did with MVC2 by releasing it on xbox arcade and such.

BardicKnowledge
Nintendo really needs to release a new Startropics game. It's been dead for so long that it would essentially be a new IP that comes with a built-in fanbase. As far as re-releasing games goes, I'd love to see Bushido Blade 2 on PSN/XBLA. It's a unique approach to fighters that's a whole lot of fun.
Chernabogue
BUG! on Genesis. Darn great game. Spent HOURS on it.

That's the one remake I'd love to see too. FF VI was always my favourite of the series until I played IX. I'd love a 3D remake, preferably of the GBA version for the extra dungeons. Jax Mandrake
I said this once already in another thread, but I have no problem repeating it: I personally would love to see Blast Corps on XBLA, maybe with an HD facelift.

noTuX
Some of these might already be available, but a remake would be awesome. Earthworm Jim Contra FUCKING BUMP N' JUMP!!!! Bust A Groove Super Dodge Ball NBA Jam Mystical Ninja Goemon Pac-Man Bug Clockwork Knight Chip's Challenge (I really enjoyed that shit) Hot Shots Golf Ninja Gaiden (The classic 2D stuff) Shinobi Afterburner
souldragon777
They need to bring back Shenmue, re-do the dialouge, or just keep the japanese voices and use Enlgish subtitles and then come out with Shenmue 3 and FINISH THE DAMN STORY!!! Bust A Groove Super Dodge Ball NBA Jam Mystical Ninja Goemon Pac-Man Bug Clockwork Knight Chip's Challenge (I really enjoyed that shit) Hot Shots Golf Ninja Gaiden (The classic 2D stuff) Shinobi Afterburner I've highlighted the ones I know of from that list that have been remade or re-released. I'm not sure if it counts as a sequel or what but Afterburner: Climax is a sweet game check it out. They relaunched Shinobi back in 2001 or 2002 for PS2. It was a great game, they made a sequel called "Nightshade" but I never played it. I'm surprised as hell that there has been no more Shinobi games to compete with the Ninja Gaidens. As for bust a groove, Kitty N's Song was always catchy.
WaywardSon
Lost Vikings.Too bad we will never see it Portal 2 has a coop mode with more or less the same feel, wtih the obvious difference that it's a two-player game. It would be interesting to se a remake of the Vikings with a coop mode included, though.
Soul Splint
I'm gonna go all mainstream and say the 'Kong Countries, especially DKC2. An HD version would rule so hard... And the music could be replaced with OC remixes. I probably wouldn't survive the announcement, though--heart attack on the spot from an epic joygasm. Turtle
Tomba! needs a comeback. Up until recently, I would've also mentioned Rayman, but that series seems to be headed back in the right direction with Origins.
