Magnetic Ether Posted December 22, 2012 Posted December 22, 2012 This mix is wonderful, as is the rest of the album. Should definitely be checked out! Quote
WolfenAmphithere Posted December 23, 2012 Posted December 23, 2012 Nice! Extra special having the Ocarina in there; Is that you playing? Edit: Album is downloading now~! Quote
Swifthom Posted December 23, 2012 Posted December 23, 2012 Haven't had time to listen to the album yet but this song is beautiful. Quote
WesternZypher Posted December 23, 2012 Posted December 23, 2012 *deep breath of fresh morning air* play this at Dawn, greet the sun, go out there and SAVE THE WORLD (again)! Quote
Nonamer Posted December 24, 2012 Posted December 24, 2012 This is how I wanted to Remix Clock town. Thank you for giving me one less thing to do. Oh yeah the song's awesome too! Quote
Karrde Posted December 24, 2012 Posted December 24, 2012 As usual, I don't come out very often unless something really catches my ear. This is absolutely gorgeous. Getting a very strong traditional Irish vibe from this without the standard Irish tropes in some respects. (I love Irish music, this is refreshing). It's been a while since I've found a mix so engrossing. It has a very nice, deep energy to it. *edit* Also, listening to the album right now. Great stuff. Quote
Thrull Posted December 25, 2012 Posted December 25, 2012 Beautiful. I'm so happy to see this game get its own album. One of my favorites! Rest of the album is great too, but I especially recommend "Lover's Mask". Reminds me of David Nyman's piano/violin work. Awesome! Quote
OpSceleriVerbrechen Posted December 26, 2012 Posted December 26, 2012 To me I think this song would fit perfectly right after the final track of Theophany's album. Quote
buh6173 Posted January 5, 2013 Posted January 5, 2013 Zelda's Lullaby was also in here, so it should be included in the original music section. Quote
XPRTNovice Posted January 7, 2013 Posted January 7, 2013 I wanted to tell this story because I think it's funny. After finishing my contributions to this, Theophany emailed me and said "Hey, tell your wife I said thanks for all the help with the vocals." I said "No, man. It was just me." Quote
eponarider1 Posted January 9, 2013 Posted January 9, 2013 except it's on the album... it's called clocktown and is track 4... Quote
genius11433 Posted January 11, 2013 Posted January 11, 2013 This is a wonderful track. Just the thing to keep you going and remind you on gray days that life always goes on. Quote
OutSpoken Posted April 20, 2013 Posted April 20, 2013 This is beautiful. Wonderful atmosphere, great ambiance, intimate and also expansive. I hope I get around to doing a write up of this one day. Fantastic work. Quote
Crulex Posted September 4, 2013 Posted September 4, 2013 The voices and overall joyous atmosphere of this ReMix makes it almost sound like a nice festival in a seaside town of sorts. Great song for an early morning "get up and go!" when you need it. Gotta love folksy stuff that can make bad days a little better. Quote
Tuosev Posted September 5, 2014 Posted September 5, 2014 Funny story, thought I'd share it. I was taking a walk to do some heavy thinking and to relax on a beautiful Summer day, listening to the perfect song for the occasion, (of course I mean this mix), when I heard kids laughing in the background. I looked around casually to find the source, but I was alone. A few seconds later, I heard it again. Embarassingly, for most of the portion of the song that had those sounds in it, I continued to look for children. It wasn't until I removed my headphones that I realized the truth. On a different note, if Nintendo were to officially release a Majoras Mask movie (I can dream, can't I?), Theophany would udisputedly be the best choice for a soundtrack composer. The ending bit of "Time's End," the final song in his album, with a little tweaking, sounds remarkably like a movie trailer. Quote
Vaizar Posted December 30, 2015 Posted December 30, 2015 This mix feels very cinematic, as if it could be in a movie; this is probably due to the realistic background noises which provide a nice touch. Having an actual ocarina playing makes it feel even more real and unique. I really like the closing trumpet as well. Going from peaceful to exciting to joyful, I honestly can't describe the mix better than just beautiful. Life is good and we should enjoy it; this mix serves to remind us that every dawn of a new day is special. Quote
